Tame Impala transformed psychedelic rock—and 21st century pop—in such an impactful way that even Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Kanye couldn’t resist the band's influence. Homewrecker debuted top 15 which is absolutely nothing to be sniffed at - it climbing into the top 10 in week 2 was still significant. He's still a new artist building a name for himself but I think the signs are very much there for him having a strong core fanbase and enough casual interest to quickly score hits at the moment.
