Fljótavík may not have had a huge hit this month, but in the rolling standings its points all count as it's replacing BJSC 174 which they did not qualify in. (And in fact next contest will be further free points for them on this ranking as they were banned from BJSC 175 so that big lead could stand to increase even further!) FLJ become the 23rd different country to spend at least one month leading this metric, having previously peaked at #2 in the updates for BJSCs 48-50, 54-55 and 183.

Also of note, this is the first time Terra Avium have ever placed in the rolling top 10! It's also a new peak for POPHub despite DNQing this month (although awks as they now face a ban for the next contest), while Mothertopia are at their peak of #14 for a third month in a row.

I didn’t know that we were so close to leading until Brer posted the update last contest - to which I immediately wished I’d spent longer finding something that I thought would do well… I’d completely forgotten that I’d got no points from the equivalent contests last year so was expecting Blacksquare to have pulled back ahead following his much better result this contest.

What a lovely surprise, it’s really cheered me up today at a point where I was feeling a bit down about being stuck in the house with constant nursing duties whilst Mr D* recovers

I did hope for better than the 30s with it, but can’t really grumble at an underperformance after the good luck I’ve had over the past year 🍀

Since there’s no green room yet, I’ll write it here that I found something I really like and was quite hyped thinking it could do well, but then I saw that the same artist had a top 3 result recently with another song, and now I feel awkward to send it 😭
