Congratulation, DaTilt. It was a great song which stood out for me. I really liked her voice.

The Spodic Empire officially confirm that we will participate in BJSC 185, hoping to extend our qualification streak.

First of all thanks a lot to @Silas for the brilliant hosting. I never expected to win this as there was not that much talking about my song in the threads and I did not spot it in any personal char

Congratulations to Zephyra Continuum and @DaTilt 👏 Nice song. I had a really fun evening, I was laughing for the first 15 minutes :D Earlier today I had a feeling I might do well, so I even joked in

Congrats DaTilt! I didn't end up voting for this song but love to see a new winner and I've of course pointed some of your past entries.

I hoped to do better than last month and... finished in the exact same position of 28th lol not a banner year for Jadakissnia so far I but was glad to be in the final again at least. Thanks to everyone who supported 'NYMPHE' this month.

I voted for half of the top 10: Pagasa (stunned this did even better than 'Cinderella' but not complaining *.*), Bøtanikkä, Ennea (wiping the floor with my KOMPROMAT entry indeed - pleased this one translated so well for you), Neliönoir and Terra Avium (not quite winning in the end but happy this still bagged a top 10 position).

...not two of my top 3 being in the bottom 5 though 😭 justice for Deandria and Dalisska. TEMMIS last is rude too hmm

Thank you Phil for an efficient hosting job! I enjoyed the extra touch of revealing the semi positions as the final results progressed too.

Monday morning's random observation: Jade coming 28th twice in a row 😯

That's all x

Sorry for double post but 28th was the last unique position in the top 30 I needed and now I've got it twice in a row!! Funny how these things happen.

Poetic to have finally ticked it off in style while actually being 28 y/o

TILT!! Absolutely thrilled for you. As I said in the green room thread, your personal chart is always so in line with my taste that I was looking forward to you finally sending something pop that I was likely to vote for and here we are! I know it’s easy to say in hindsight but I did toy with you for the bottom of my top 10 prediction - probably would’ve gone for like 12th but to win by such a margin as a shock winner is impressive. And I know you’re gonna host a great contest too.

What a superb top 10 aswell. Goes to show that one contest never follows the next in what does well - right back to a pop domination. Yehesi top 5 is so deserved, Cor Lupus, Bronzil, Nelionoir, Botanikka - many faves in the top 10.

Did not expect top 10 for myself at all and I’m thrilled. I’ve not made much secret of the fact I really wanted Heavenly (but was happy for Jim after he missed out on Baby Jane!) and I didn’t really have a Plan B and felt flustered so to have found something in the last few days and not be sure if people still liked Bonnie McKee soundalikes in 2026 and then to finish only just behind my first choice feels really validating and a pleasant surprise. Especially nearly winning the semi that I was convinced I was crashing out of 😂

Where to go next, must exit Girls Trip + potential Eurovision mode to find something ~

I see it like this - BJSC 184 had so many great pop songs - Luna, Parade of Planets, Emei, Tiffany Day, Babe America, Wasia Project, Hanna Ferm., Michael Madrano, 2charm. Also several good alternative songs - particularly love the Ennea entry - happy that it made Top 10.

All of my most recent top 10 results have been exclusively with male artists oops but maybe I should also venture back into woman

If I do come back for 185 think I'll be steering away from male vocals also! I wish I had your run with male artists Pav

Historically, I tend to do better on my attempts with male vocals than the ones with female vocals. Not just here but in other contests (PFSC, Nuggets, Club Bizarre recently).

Maybe with females, I have become particular with what I am willing to enter (I steer away from the typical contest entry kink). Probably an age thing.

(So don't quit sending males, Scene!)

They are welcome to appear in producer or instrumentalist form. sarah

If you send a straight male profiting by gay-baiting, you have a guaranteed Top 10 kink…it happened twice!!!

Do you have a gaybait playlist of some kind you can share? lol

I might send an instrumental, but I still need a bit more time to think about it

I had to dip early from the results but had been commenting here and there, but now that I have time I can finally go into these fully!

A lot of the pop entries that I had a feeling would do well did end up doing so (Charlotte, Emei, LUNA, Tiffany - was unsure about Babe America but thought top 15 at least), which I’m really glad to see bc the pop entries were SO GOOD this month. Yay for Ennea getting a top 10 on their first final appearance - nice to see the current BJSC rookie class get some much needed success.

Aeroche, Land of DW and Dobago were ROBBED 😭😭😭

and yeah WOW I was not expecting Sarah to do THAT well 🤯 after losing out on Tiffany Day, scrambling for a reconfirmation and Callum calling it dated during the semi listenthrough I was certain it would be that one track that gets a fair amount of points but not enough big ones to make it through, so getting 3rd is a miracle to say the least, even if it did so without a single 18 😶‍🌫️ thanks to everyone who voted for I Still Miss You 🧡🧡and thanks to Silas for providing me with a distraction from adulting 😅

For those of you who are praying for me to send something less basic, I hate to disappoint you but most of my potentials are pop so I’m likely going that route again

I just remembered one song and now I’m excited to send it, open the thread! 🤣🤣

YTD update ~

Hendinia retake the lead ahead of 'all but set' Fljótavík as their latest top 10 success pushes them ahead of the latter with an auto-qualifier that did not set the scoreboard alight, though it's a close call with only 13 points between them. Bøtanikkä solidify their current hold on the bronze medal position, expanding their lead over 4th place from 8 points to 92. Said 4th place last month was Cheiron but a DNQ costs them their spot in the top 10, falling 4-12. Cor Lupus rise 2 places to take their position, leapfrogging Kluminican Republic who stay in 5th. Altyr Muunilinst are also up 2 to 6th, while last year's champs Neliönoir work themselves back into the top 10 up 13-7, as do 8 time EOY winners Aeroche who are up 14-8 despite not yet achieving a top 10 hit in any contest this year. Trifoski stay in 9th place and The Spodic Empire also rise 2 places into the last rung in the top 10. A DNQ is also responsible for Mothertopia diving 10-24, but Baleghde exit the top 10 (down 7-13) through the sheer power of flopping in the final x

Look at Persephonia continue to rise, coming for Hendinian wigs any day now x
