Shakira has released her new single Dai Dai, a collaboration with Burna Boy, as the official song of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Shakira's association with the World Cup continues, following major success with Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) in 2010, as well as La La La (Brazil 2014) featuring Carlinhos Brown. As well as those three official songs, Shakira also performed a special version of Hips Don't Lie / Bamboo with Wyclef Jean at 2006's closing ceremony.

Chloe Qisha has released her new single Surprise Surprise. Co-written with Ilya Salmanzadeh and Caroline Ailin in February 2026, this single serves as a follow-up to previous 2026 release YDH.

Shania Twain has released her new single Dirty Rosie, serving as the lead single from her upcoming album Little Miss Twain.

Maya J'an has released her new single depends, coinciding with the release of her debut EP blindfaith county today. Her debut single cul-de-sac has passed one million streams, while follow-up singles pocket knife and new june have also seen her build a steady fanbase.

Wasia Project have released their new single Bleeding Gold, another taste of what's to come from their upcoming album Nocturne, due to be released on 18th September 2026. A member of Wasia Project, William Gao, is best-known for his role as Tao Xu in Netflix series Heartstopper, and with over one million monthly listeners on Spotify, his popularity continues to grow beyond that.

Henry Morris has released his new single Sex with my Ex, his third release of 2026 so far following Drugs and Money and Good Girls Go to Heaven. Having released two albums so far - Jawbreaker in 2024 and Late Bloomer, Early Death in 2025, it might not be bold to assume another album will arrive at some point in 2026 as he continues to build a strong following.

Jared Benjamin has released his new single Angel Eyes four months after the release of ICARUS in January 2026, his second EP following 2025's Oxygen. His debut single Superhero saw him break out in 2023 after it blew up on TikTok, and since then he has started building a following, touring both in the US and the UK with dates in Autumn 2026, notably at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow that has been a launchpad for many new artists.

Zolita has released her new single Hell's Belles, her first release of 2026 following album Queen of Hearts in 2024 and its subsequent deluxe edition in 2025. She has already enjoyed medium success over the years with two studio albums and EPs, but Hell's Belles is an indication of promising things yet to come.

Henry Moodie has released MISS U, his first single since debut album mood swings was released in October 2025. A departure from the themes explored on the album, Henry talks about missing the person he loves after publicly sharing his current relationship with model Josh Priest.

December 10, who rose to fame through the selection process on Netflix documentary Simon Cowell: The Next Act, have released their third single Infinity (123). More news from the band is expected soon regarding their first EP, as well as a collaboration with Primark.

Johnny Orlando has released Heads Up, the second taste of his upcoming sophomore album Songs For Young Lovers, due to be released on 12th June 2026. This serves as the follow-up to previous single Have Your Lovin'.

Will Linley has released Holding the Line, taken from the official mixtape for original Amazon Prime series Off Campus. Off Campus: The Mixtape also includes music by Josh Heuston, one of the stars of the show, also known for starring in Heartbreak High and Dune: Prophecy.

Tanner Grigoli has released Say It Baby, taken from his upcoming debut EP Before You Press Play, due to be released on 11th June. This song follows on from his previous releases Bad to Worse and In It For the Fun as well as his debut single Love You Right.

GUS has released Out of Water, his third single of 2026 following Hands on Me and Same Life. GUS has only released standalone singles since his EP Taller Than the Trees in 2024, and in a case of twinks supporting twinks he supported Johnny Orlando on his The Ride World Tour.

Kevin Jonas has released Little Things, his second solo single and a continuation of his debut Who I Am. Despite that, he's struggling to make a name for himself away from the Jonas Brothers brand unlike brothers Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas who have enjoyed solo success to some degree, the latter more notably with DNCE. With the release of Disney film Camp Rock 3 in August 2026, perhaps he'll see a slight boost in popularity and notability.

The Eurovision Song Contest Final takes place tomorrow evening, Saturday 16th May 2026. Earlier this week Semi Final 1 and Semi Final 2 took place and now 20 nations join hosts Austria and the Big Four - France, Germany, Italy and United Kingdom - in the bid to win.

Although the songs have been available for some time now, contenders and fan favourites from the world of pop include Delta Goodrem representing Australia with Eclipse, FELICIA representing Sweden with My System, Søren Torpegaard Lund representing Denmark with Før vi går hjem and Akylas representing Greece with Ferto.

Following her performance in Semi Final 2, Delta Goodrem jumped to second-favourite to win, while Finland remain the bookies' favourite to win, represented by Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen with Liekinheitin.

Viewers in the UK can watch the Eurovision Song Contest Final on Saturday 16th May 2026 from 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
