The last pre-World Cup friendly which sees an repeat of the dead rubber World Cup 2014 group stage match between England and Costa Rica.

Kick-off delayed til 10pm due to the weather, be warned get used to this throughout the World Cup.

If this goes ahead, how do we see this one going?

Only 2 Meetings:

07/06/2018- England 2-0 Costa Rica (Friendly)

24/06/2014- Costa Rica 0-0 England (World Cup)

Be a pain for weather interruptions for the night time kick offs especially for the 11pm games which for me I’d be happy to watch as the missus will be away to bed and they’ll finish in time to get a good night sleep.

Can’t remember these types of delays in the 94 WC

Just switched on the football to see our main goalscorer Harry Kane take a shot that wouldn't have gone in even if there were 3 goals stacked on top of each other.

Watkins losing his marker at the right time made that header look easy. It was easy cos of his movement. 3-0.

How's Madueke missed that?

Honestly this 🤦‍♂️

Also, how impressive was the drainage system for the stadium? It was practically flooded like an hour and a half before it actually kicked off and when they started it's like it never happened lol

Watched the highlights from ITV this morning - was the footage biased or did Costa Rica really not get a single chance in the whole game? That should at least give the team some confidence.
