Her posting has been v. irritating

  • I like it but more as a solid album track and less as a single. Not sure it has much replay factor for me just yet but I think I’ll like it more in context of the album.

I actually think it's the opposite, lol!

I mean, I agree with you that making 24 posts since June 1 on both Instagram and Twitter might be irritating, but the purpose of them is to point out which are the tracks of her new project, specifying where and when they written. Also, two teasers were done beforehand and and all of them were being summarised in two reels on both Threads and TikTok yesterday.

I guess Carly Rae could have avoided all the posts and put the reels instead to make them short, but I think the engagement would be lost somehow.

Carly Rae says the following about the track, which surges with urgency and captures the dizzying pull of desire.

"It's about wanting someone so badly you can barely get through the motions of a night out. It's a real 'come hither' song, but the chorus is just me repeating 'I want you,' because that's all I can think about."

I like it but more as a solid album track and less as a single.

Pretty much agreed. It's nice but hasn't made that much of an impression so far.

Well I love this.

I had no idea what to expect but I love that she hasn’t gone with something safer as the lead. This psych rock sound suits her so well and feels like a really natural progression for her, excited to hear what the rest of the album is like.
