This - BMG love to do midweek releases (Snow Patrol are also signed to them now) and there is really zero need for it at all.

I hate midweek releases aswell and find it pointles.

When did snow patrol move to bmg?

I guess it was to have the radio premiere, avoid Madge hype, have song out before gig on Friday and pre orders of physicals. I agree not necessary but we seem unable to avoid them

It was officially announced 6 days ago they had signed to BMG - guessing they’ve probably been with them since last year though getting ready for this new era.

Oh very good as it should mean a new snow patrol album which is always a good thing plus bmg usually handle albums very well especially on release week.
