The first quarter-final of the World Cup sees an repeat of the 2022 semi-final which sees France take on Morocco at the Boston Stadium, Foxborough on Thursday at 9pm (UK Time).

For France, it is the tenth time that they have reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup, their fourth in a row.

For Morocco, it is the second time in a row that they have the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Indeed, especially the first half.

Even without Saibari I expected Morocco to at least go for it a bit more. Especially when 2-0 down it was like they were protecting goal difference as if it was a league match. Who cares if they end up losing 5-0, they should have gone all out attack like Argentina did vs Egypt.
