I was excited to hear 'Six Shot Morning' following live performances of it and that did not disappoint as an opener <3 really loved that and 'Mimesis' from the front half, the bass on the latter is very New Order.

I didn't think it was possible for me to adore 'Where Is Gone?' even more than I already do but it really shines in the context of the album.

The second half is so strong that I'm not even too mad about 'Japan' getting the focus track push over Fontalía. 'Intimate'... whew what a closer.

Glad they're so popular now that some of these tracks will actually be in the top 40 🤩

Looks like they haven’t really decided on what song to really push. I had expected it to be ‘Where Is Gone?’, but perhaps they don’t think it’ll stick as well with it being so different. ‘Mimesis’ is probably the most radio ready.

I feel that for big acts nowadays they purposefully do this to promote the whole album and get it streaming.

just listened! was already in love with ‘Marianne’ and ‘Where is Gone?’, but my god ‘Mimesis’ was fab! Also loved ‘Demolition’ and ‘Intimate’.

Romance era was big for them but now is going to be their peak.

After repeated listens, ‘Where Is Gone?’ and ‘Mimesis’ are definitely my favourites, though it’s a very high bar.

I enjoy ‘Japan’, but can see it grating on me, especially if it does become the song pushed to radio.

Demolition already feels timeless, classic even. Perhaps it's because it wouldn't feel out of place on Romance. God I love this album so much.
