Tuesday at 14:181 day I seriously hate this kind of strategy to announce early some nominations (through CBS Mornings), then through press releases (which includes incomplete categories) and, finally, through the MTV VMAs socials, which are doing the countdown of all the categories.I guess it's to generate hype, but it's atrocious in my opinion. Either way, rant aside, five of the eleven categories are the main ones, while the remaining six are the technicals, so they can't be voted in those.

(The latter is wayyyy better)I need to see the other nominations (MTV, hurry up!), but I'm kind of sure they only focus on "Bring Your Love" in Song of the Year and Collaboration categories. They even nominated the Confessions II Film in the Dance category, so this is good in my opinion.

Tuesday at 16:011 day Confessions - The Film deserves ALL the noms and it’s incredible to see Madonna as the most nominated in any award show in 2026, let alone VMA’s. Incredible.I will say the Bring Your Love noms feel a little like the label would only agree to a Madonna x Sabrina Carpenter performance on the night if they were nominated and granted, if that does happen, will almost definitely be the most talked about performance of the night and wouldn’t be surprised if she pulled out a modern day Britney kiss from it (or at least a reference to it) so fair play.
Tuesday at 16:091 day Confessions - The Film to sweep it all.I woke up to see she was the most nominated artist and thought it must be some sort of fever dream but so happy to see it is true. What a legend!
Tuesday at 16:401 day They both will probably be there and she will most likely perform a Confessions II medley so no reason why Sabrina wouldn't join.

SighBut really... 11 nominations is awesome. Now just get her to perform!!
