August 25Aug 25 This is really sad, as stated above by many she wasn't just an icon in the music industry for her songwriting and contributions to country music, but she was also a truly kind person. Her charity set up to give children free books is something that isn't known enough as it is truly such a gorgeous selfless thing to do. August 25Aug 25 This is such sad news, I know she was 80 but it was still relatively unexpected, you just assume the good ones will be around forever or at least until they're 100. Even if you're not a dedicated lifelong fan, i think she still touched the lives of so many in someway, she was such a light and had such a warm energy, not to mention her undeniable talent. She's definitely left one hell of a legacy behind. RIP Dolly 🪽
