Pop Track of the Week 2026

Each week, new releases from the worlds of pop and country are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner. The winners will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year - at the end of each quarter and again at the end of the year - to determine the ultimate winner of 2026.

Thanks to @RobBot for getting us back on track with Week 35, and moving forward we'll either alternate or swap around and share this however, great to have someone else so passionate about new pop releases on board! Now time for the mammoth ask of having everybody vote retrospectively for weeks 29 to 34. All of the stats will be fully up to date by the time Week 36's thread goes live.

Congratulations to Kim Petras, ADÉLA, Slayyyter and Wasia Project who all manage to top the poll in their respective weeks, while Carly Rae Jepsen manages two wins with Don't Leave Me on the Dance Floor and Motivation. After All on the other hand, her third entry in the polls, didn't manage to win many people over. Perhaps most surprisingly, Slayyyter's win comes at the expense of Ariana Grande's petal, the lead single from her eighth studio album of the same name. And despite a warm reception from many, Troye Sivan's new single She's the Best fails to top the poll, beaten by both Wasia Project and KATSEYE.
