TikTok has revealed its Songs Of The Summer rankings with rundowns for the UK and US.

The short form platform has also revealed that Katy Perry’s The One That Got Away is the overall No.1 TikTok Song Of The summer globally.

On the UK rankings, there are signs of a UK garage revival with Kyla and DJ Paleface's Do You Mind at No.1. The 2008 track has found a huge new audience this year, generating more than 543m video views from 644,000 creations in the UK over the summer and making a return to the singles chart as part of its 2026 revival.

Meanwhile, amid the resurgence of UK garage, bassline and speed garage, Silva Bumpa’s new hit On 2nite makes No.3.

Dance act Prospa & Cloonee are at No.7 with Free Your Mind.

In the UK, the number of TikTok posts using #UKGarage increased 42% between February and July 2026 while #HouseMusic increased 53% over the same period.

Oasis' Wonderwall is TikTok's second biggest UK Song Of The Summer after becoming the unofficial soundtrack to England's World Cup. The track generated 336,000 creations and surged back up the singles chart, reaching No.2 during its 2026 resurgence.

Champagne Supernova also makes the UK Top 10, as a new wave of fan content, football videos and cultural nostalgia brought the Oasis catalogue into the feeds of another generation.

Rein Me In by Sam Fender & Olivia Dean – now spending its 23rd week at No.1 in the UK – was No.4 on the TikTok summer rundown in the UK.

Meanwhile, the global honours went to Katy Perry’s The One That Got Away, which also topped the US Songs Of The Summer list.

The catalogue track has been discovered by a new generation on TikTok, where the community has used it to soundtrack over 42 million videos and over 55 billion video views. The One That Got Away, which also topped the US TikTok summer rankings, is on more than 1.8 billion Spotify streams.

The 2011 single has been used to soundtrack more than 15 million TikTok videos, introducing it to a new generation and helping propel it back into charts around the world.

That Chris Rainbow song is a very nice retro one, shame that hasn't charted considering all the revivals of past hits that are recently.

I'll stick to 'Free Your Mind' as best chart song of summer out of those top 10 thanks to Sybil's great vocal.

On2Nite is weak for garage/bassline.

It did chart for quite a while! (Unless you mean in the top 40 in which case yes not quite)

9 weeks in the top 100 although only peaking at #82, I thought I remembered it going a bit higher than that.
