Pop Track of the Week 2026

Each week, new releases from the worlds of pop and country are selected to go head to head, with one weekly winner. The winners will then go up against future weekly winners later in the year - at the end of each quarter and again at the end of the year - to determine the ultimate winner of 2026.

Some weeks are a close run thing and some weeks we get one song that dominates the pack - this week, Miley Cyrus (or MILEY as she's known for this era) was victorious with half of the voters, and won very comfortably. The only other song to score more than one vote was Beautiful Love by Australian superstar Natalie Imbruglia. Take That & Michael Patrick Kelly are the only other act capable of scoring a vote from more than one person, with a sea of twinks sitting pretty with a big fat zero.

Listen to Pop Track of the Week 2026: Week 37

daine, Dylan and Avery Cochrane are all pretty good. voted for daine for now but might change my vote later x

i expect to see this Dylan song to be attempted in bjsc. whether or not it gets vetoed we shall see

Dove Cameron out of that list - disappointed by the songs of Slayyyter (OK, Crank was also one of my lesser favourites from the album, looking forward to Dance 2 or Petrol Station) and Amara ctk100. Songs from Chloe and La Ssserafim are OK. Daine's song the downpoint of the whole list for me. Another song not on this list, however, is my pop favourite of the week.

Twinky Kyle

(Dove a close second)

oh yeah i forgor dove cameron is on this list her song defo gives bjsc pop bloc vibes but she's probably gonna be vetoed

This thread almost disappeared off page 1 while still open #popfactorimpact

Not the greatest selection (think 'crank 2' is not for me), but I kinda liked the Avery Cochrane one. Dove's is OK too I guess

Agreed that it’s not a wildly vintage week but Crank 2 has properly hit in with me now after a week to grow. I do really like the Dove Cameron one so that’s a close second.

Voted for 'crank 2' which has similarly grown on me now I know what to expect.

I also quite enjoyed 'Creamy', the production was reminding me of 'Tenderoni' by Kele and I'm a sucker for that sound
