The label has to make an explicit request to the label for it to be changed, it won't happen otherwise. Love Sensation didn't chart before the Kylie version but would have registered some sales before that regardless, so it did need an active request for it to be changed.

Are we really going to pretend like this hasn’t been the best pop girl campaign of the year x

  • So what you're saying is it's not going to #1?

Taylor Swift released just objectively terrible music, every last piece, and got to no.1 with everything. No one else can get away with doin that, so Taylor Swift unfortunately had the best campaign

Well, that campaign started last year, and Taylor Swift exists in a vacuum. I would also say the pop album of the year requires the album to actually be acclaimed or well received.

If Expectations is a hit then Olivia has four on one album, almost unheard of these days, unless you’re Taylor Swift. Default market dominance isn't the same thing as a great campaign x

This is incredible as expected, AFTER the first 3 seconds anyway, the “I heard Olivia does remixes now 🤪” makes the hairs on my arm stand up but it’s ignorable.

this song is the new bisexual anthem btw. a fairly decently happy song beforehand and now even happier and carefree with a whole new perspective. love it.

she is coming for that AOTY GRAMMY... cheeseblock

Cannot wait to see Taylor's face at the Grammy audience when Olivia wins the AOTY, after all the attempts she has done to block her from the spotlight on charts.

I really don’t think Taylor would care lmao she’s already won it before, 4 times actually. Besides, if you’d love a girl winning an award just to piss somebody else off rather than because the album is actually good, it’s very telling, although most of your comments are pretty much ragebait anyway so it’s not surprising.

Anyway, I’m proud to say I’m mature enough to support both women and in fact many pop stars here no matter their issues between one another because I’m not 11 years old 🥰 hope this does well!

debuts at #5 with 369,685 streams on UK Spotify - it's #1 with 591k streams when combined with the original!

debuts at #3 on US Spotify and #4 on Spotify Global - likewise, it's #1 on both when both versions are combined

Just seen some of the video... I was not expecting to see Shock Treatment referenced so heavily in a mainstream music video 😱

Dreadful film, but the soundtrack is iconic x
