They're teasing their fifth album on their social media.

About time! Crazy to think it’s been over 5 years since their last one.

"Roses", the lead single, is coming soon. It's available to pre-save on streaming platforms here.

Can't wait to hear their new song!

Yeh it’s been a while!

Churches are probably my favourite current band. I can't wait!

New teaser.

That instrumental sounds very intriguing! Dark and mysterious.

I haven't returned to their last album at all so it's kind of passed me by how long it's been since they released something. Their first two albums are 10/10 for me.

Another one.

Premieres this Tuesday as the Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1.

Here it is!

Very surprised there hasn’t been much chat about this on here!

I hadn't got round listening to it until today but I'm impressed on first listen! That chorus and middle-8 is fab.

I'm enjoying this too! 'Roses' sounds like a natural progression from the Screen Violence era and I loved that album, so not a bad thing.

This is excellent, has been stuck in my head all day! The song reminds me of something from the 80's or 90's I think, but I'm struggling to pin down what.

More new music on the way!

Their new single is called "Overthinker" out later this week. It's available to pre-save here.

"Overthinker" is actually coming out today at 5pm BST / 6pm CEST.

ETA: Oh! The announcement was related to the album's reveal, not to the single release. Sorry. 🫠

Revealed by a reliable source that their fifth album is called All the King's Men and it will be released on January 22.
