January 28, 200719 yr but the last album sold a million and the singles were quite successful actually, they got around teh same positions as LOATW did -_- Apart from Filthy/Gorgeous which had outside appeal and was released in January.
January 28, 200719 yr But what i mean about SS is that the last albums singles were all so commerical and were overplayed by every commercial station whereas I havent heard anything of this last single
January 28, 200719 yr The retro is actually retro :o I was only one! If you want really retro, try listening to Radio 2 From 3pm until 4.30 on a Sunday, Dale Winton counts down from a top 40 chart from yesteryear. Today it was 1975. It's a great way to lead into the new top 40 that then starts as it finishes.
January 28, 200719 yr I've heard a lot about Larrikin Love but not much by them, shall have to listen to some of their material.
January 28, 200719 yr But what i mean about SS is that the last albums singles were all so commerical and were overplayed by every commercial station whereas I havent heard anything of this last single Mainly because the last single was released during Christmas period. And LOATW went top 5 Airplay chart anyway didn't it?

January 28, 200719 yr The last Scissor Sisters single was rubbish and I'm glad it underachieved. Quite like the new one though, 'She's My Man'. Infact that's the first single off this album I have liked so far.
January 28, 200719 yr I hope Akon is still top 20 Smack That is just horrid now, it was good a few months ago. IWFU is grinding on me slightly now :arrr:

January 28, 200719 yr sorry but I miss the old charts. All these ageing songs would've been booted off the charts in favour of more recent ones, like Space Cowboys!

January 28, 200719 yr Scissor Sisters are overated $h!t who I got bored of the moment they started being bummed everywhere back in 2004. I thought 'Comfortably Numb' was genius but I really cannot stand to listen to their debut album ever again after the atrocious overhype it got. Same reason why I have not purchased Ta-Dah and IDFLD has been blacklisted.
January 28, 200719 yr In which ways are Larrikin Love similar to The Kooks, I am a fan of The Kooks so if they sound similar then chances are I will probably think Larrikin Love are good.

The ageing tracks in the chart does make the chart look messy I agree on that point, quite shocking to see Space Cowboys missing out on a top 40 entry
