The Traitors Series 3

Episodes: 1-3

Placement: 20th

Still on series 3 and this time it's one of the original traitor trio! Claudia selected an all-female line-up for the first time, with Minah and Linda being joined by Armani in the turret. Armani already had an uphill battle in the game, with her sister Maia being in the game yet being a faithful. Whilst I initially really liked the vibe of the starting trio, Armani's approach quickly became detrimental to the team. An overly confident nature out of the turret led to suspicions growing quickly, and an abrasive attitude in the turret made Linda and Minah frustrated, the latter being one of the votes to banish her in episode 3 - the quickest a traitor had been banished by that stage. I had to rank Armani low because she ultimately sabotaged her game, both inside and outside the turret, and only really had herself to blame for her downfall. Too big a personality to be a traitor I think - eyes were on her far too quickly!

It is funny how Linda is usually dubbed a bad Traitor but did outlast Armani by quite some distance!

Armani was a chaotic mess from what I can remember… and even her sister could see she was a Traitor! This is making me feel I need to rewatch Series 2/3

Richard E grant bad traitor but gosh he was so entertaining

I actually liked Ross and Freddie as people but its a shame that they was both sacrificial lambs really. At least Freddie and well ross too is more known for faithful stuff than traitor things.

Armani iirc went a bit hard too quick so wasn't surprised she was banished early lol

Poor Freddie 💔 it felt like at the time him becoming a traitor could've been a good move but ultimately he was just left to the wolves by Charlotte (who personally I don't really rate all that much as a traitor either tbh)

23 Hugo Lodge

The Traitors Series 4

Episodes: 1-3

Placement: 19th

One of the original traitor team in series 4, Hugo was another big personality who just couldn't fly under the radar enough. With a big reaction to the murder of Ben, orchestrated by him of course, Hugo came under fire from fierce faithful Harriet and was banished at just the second roundtable - technically even quicker than Armani despite a higher placement and still making it to episode 3. Hugo places higher than Armani simply because he at least tried to be a team player more than she did - his actions were self-destructive in the game but he played with the intention of furthering not only himself but also Rachel and Stephen too. Perhaps if he'd toned down his reactions a little there'd have been more scope for Hugo to go further, but as we all know, the remaining traitors needed no help in succeeding!

Good outs so far, all of them traitors who couldn't keep it together for many rounds, instantly becoming suspicious and banished at almost the first possible opportunities for each. I barely even count Ross as a Traitor given how little he did as one, and Freddie's game was just weak once recruited.

Richard, Armani and Hugo all fit into the same kind of archetype that clearly loses (if you disregard Richard sabotaging himself more blatantly than the others, his game played about the same as Armani and Hugo or likely would have regardless), all were clear big personalities that production chose for some bombastic fun and very very quickly their standing out in the early stages and lack of subtlety did them in.

No surprises so far - Richard last really was deserved as much as I loved him, he couldn’t have hit the self-destruct button any quicker! Freddie and his “Minah told me you had a shield” moment was absolutely hysterical and that round table at the end where he got exposed by talking himself further into demise was quite entertaining, sweet lad though! Hugo also wasn’t made to last with the way he was so theatrical in his reactions to murders.

I think because Stephen and Rachel was top tier you often forget that Hugo was a traitor that series
