Joss Stone didn't make that much of a fool of herself, all she did was put on a bit of an accent and that equals career over???

Enter Shikari are the unquestionable leaders of a wholly new youth scene in the UK – potentially the band of a generation

Which dumbarse writes these? HMV should fire them -_-

Chart Run: 28

Multi award winning UK soul singer and song writer Joss Stone releases the first single, entitled, 'Tell Me 'Bout It', from her forthcoming third studio album 'Introducing Joss Stone'. Lead single 'Tell Me 'Bout It' is a funky uptempo groove, laden with Stone's trademark soulful vocals with lyrics goading her man to step up to the plate. - HMV

track listing

* 1. Tell Me 'Bout It

* 2. My God

This is first hit in almost two years for the now grown-up and red-headed Joss Stone who sounds like she listen more to Aretha Franklin than Janis Joplin lately.

Also the guy playing the bass in the video is Raphel Saadiq formerly of the US R&B group Tony Toni Tone and Lucy Pearl.

Ben79 do you post these chart stats or have a process which posts them automatically?

I post it but we have a formula, so I only have to search for it, copy, paste add the position and that's it!

25  (from 18) Mason vs Princess Superstar - Perfect (Exceeder)

Chart Run:11-3-5-5-6-12-18-25

Over the past few months the instrumental of 'Exceeder' has whipped clubland into a frothing mass of hysteria, becoming a permanent fixture in the record boxes of everyone from underground electro noodlers to mainstream spinners.

Originally signed to Tomcraft's Great Stuff Recordings in Germany (also home to David Guetta vs The Egg and Coburn), Data Records realised the tracks potential and came up with the ingenious idea of blending the instrumentals driving soundtrack with the vocal from the infamous rapstress Princess Superstar's 'Perfect'. Combining, well, perfectly - the end result is a crossover anthem steeped in underground credibility. - HMV

Joss Stone deserved much much higher, her new song is amazing, imo. The song at No.27 reminds me of My Chemical Romance's "Helena" for some reason and Mason vs Princess Superslut is still great!

Poor SEB :(

She really deserved so much better.

This Mason song is really grating on me now has been for weeks. <_<

Best dance track of 07' so far!!!

I agree! :yahoo: :cheer:

You're doing well Ben :cheer:

I'm a bit bored of this Mason song now :( Although I LOVE that older songs hang around for longer - the amount of songs in the bottom of the Top 75 with 20+ weeks is amazing :D

Maybe it is then. I deffo read 790k somewhere though as I was really suprised when reading it.

It's bizarre.

I wasn't laughing at you just like the sheer thought that a #14 hit could sell 7x as much as most of todays #1s.

Shame about Sophie.

I agree that Mason/Princess Superstar is probably the best dance track of '07 so far (though I'm not really a dance fan).
