March 11, 200719 yr Did Paulo Nutini have any U.S. success? His album entered at #48 on the US album charts but it has been falling like a rock since its release last month.
March 11, 200719 yr Well, decent, but not the impressive sales it should've have. Look at Steps - 5 6 7 8 for comparison, never made the top10, but had a very impressive total sales. 790,000 to be exact, with #14 peak :D
March 11, 200719 yr This is the only Diddy song I like from this album so far and that's only because of the laydeh. Keyisha is very talented - love the song she did with Clarkson
March 11, 200719 yr Sales were a lot higher in those days... Oh yeah definitely, especially in 1999 the peak sales year (not 1997, that had an above average sales for #1s due to Elton), but not on the whole.
March 11, 200719 yr Chris Moyles might be the new X Factor judge apparently Oh god no!!!!  Why does the whole of the UK seem to love him!!! I find him so smug and unfunny!!!! I hope it'll be Paula Abdul but she ain't really that well known over here
March 11, 200719 yr Ah, yes, but that was back in the magic days of 1997 sales. No comparison there! I wonder if it will ever be possible to reach those sales again :( Methinks the OCC should start putting tags on how much the certain tracks are downloaded on LimeWire et al :kink:
March 11, 200719 yr 29 Scissor Sisters - She's My Man http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1721313.JPG Chart Run: 29 New York's finest return with new single, 'She's My Man', a joyous glam-rock-disco shakedown that is based on a woman called Annie Christmas, who was a New Orleans folk legend. Jake Shears explains the story: "She was a huge lady, a riverboat pirate, a thief and a killer who passed herself off as a man. This song is from the point of view of someone who is in love with her… I'm completely fascinated by New Orleans. It's a city built by whores and thieves. It fascinates me – I'm very inspired by the music that's come out of the city. I think you can hear that on the record". - HMV Video here: MjNLAG6bKno track listing * 1. She's My Man * 2. March 11, 200719 yr This Scissor Sisters track is the only single off this album I have remotely liked so far, IMO the first two have been vile...
March 11, 200719 yr Author That was My debut... and I forgot the arrow    and the arrow didn't matter as you can edit after :P And oh dear for the Scissor Sisters - FLOP!
March 11, 200719 yr Wonder where Joss will be :o I'm guessing between 28-26 It might be higher though
