40 LCD Soundsystem - North American Scum

Chart Run: 40

James Murphy aka LCD Soundsystem returns with his highly anticipated new album 'Sound Of Silver', the follow up to the massively acclaimed and eponymous debut. Far from the typical difficult second album that some might have expected, 'Sound Of Silver' takes the LCD Soundsystem we know and love, and shows their rebirth as a great "pop" band. Here repetitive percussion, towering walls of sound, driven melodies, lyrical hooks and occasional abstract and detailed string orchestration combine to create a sound like no other. The album includes the crushing barrage of first single 'North American Scum', a scathing update to their seminal track 'Losing My Edge'. - HMV

I knew right away that LCD Soundsystem will have a hard time following up the great tune they had 2 years ago called "Daft Punk Is Playing In My House" but I give the group time to see if they have a tune that will get a better reaction this tune they have out now.

Regina Spektor didn't make the top 40 :(

Hope S.E.B. has stayed top 25. Does anyone know her sales to date? Has she got to 50,000 yet?

Let's note HAD i.e. past tense

:cheer: Paolo Nutini! Is he on downloads alone?? I think he deserves to have another big hit, all of his songs are great, imo.

Paolo makes me feel like extracting bile from obese monkeys. <_<

Ooh dear, Paolo Nutini :( I find him so dull.

Paulo :puke2:

Doesn't he define middle-of-the-road and bland?

Paulo Nutini is SO ugly!

Let's note HAD i.e. past tense

Well I had that same conversation with your mother when we discussed our fling last summer.
