Chart Run: 40

James Murphy aka LCD Soundsystem returns with his highly anticipated new album 'Sound Of Silver', the follow up to the massively acclaimed and eponymous debut. Far from the typical difficult second album that some might have expected, 'Sound Of Silver' takes the LCD Soundsystem we know and love, and shows their rebirth as a great "pop" band. Here repetitive percussion, towering walls of sound, driven melodies, lyrical hooks and occasional abstract and detailed string orchestration combine to create a sound like no other. The album includes the crushing barrage of first single 'North American Scum', a scathing update to their seminal track 'Losing My Edge'. - HMV

Chart Run: 38-39

Following the top ten success of 3 of their last singles, Good Charlotte release their first new single in 2 years Keep Your hands Off My Girl, the first to be taken from the bands much anticipated fourth album 'Good Morning Revival'. 'Keep Your Hands Off My Girl' is a great indicator of what to expect from the new album, mixing their signature anthemic rock style with dance floor inspired beats. - HMV

Chart Run: 37

Comprising of one man, a guitar and a laptop, Get Cape... is opinionated and political but with the hedonistic streak of a 21 year old given the chance to escape his hometown. Get Cape's music is passionate and life affirming, layering socially aware lyrics over acoustic guitar and laptop driven samples and beats. - HMV
