Glad that despite the long chart run its never gone high enough to total more than 300,000 sales :)

Terrible sales for such a long running hit

Bear in mind that it only had 6 weeks of those in the lower top ten. pretty decent sales, considering ^_^

Hard to belive its been more than 2 decades since Simply Red had their first US #1 with Holding Back The Years. Now I'm wondering if Mick Hucknall is really Holding Back The Years with his red hair.

Chris Moyles might be the new X Factor judge apparently
None of the prizes are good enough or I would.
How many times does he need to list the prizes

Well, decent, but not the impressive sales it should've have. Look at Steps - 5 6 7 8 for comparison, never made the top10, but had a very impressive total sales.

Intersting chart stat, next hit will be #36

Thanks for commenting on that Mikey.

Moyles is funny but too up himself. JK & Joel are good!!! Miles better than the w****r Wes Butters that used to host the chart show.

What I would give to have Wes back.

Sales were a lot higher in those days...

Although 'Chasing Cars' has been a long runner, it never got a very high peak did it? That explains the sales being lower than you would think.

Yeah it peaked at #6 but look at Leann Rimes. Peaked at #7 and sold over 700,000.

Plus I think even Steps have sold more copies of the song that never made the top 10.

Admitedly sales were HUGE 10 years ago but its still pretty funny.

Didn't Chasing Cars peak inside the top five though or was it around No.7 or 8!!

Great climb for Diddy & Keyshia!!

Doubt it's gonna make the top 10 next week though :( :(

Ah, yes, but that was back in the magic days of 1997 sales. No comparison there!

Chris Moyles might be the new X Factor judge apparently

That was only a suggested judge from Louis Walsh.

God could you imagine?
