April 29, 200718 yr it would be great if there was a fourth one. ^_^ I'm gonna watch it next Friday, hopefully. ^_^
April 29, 200718 yr having 4 is just an overkill so if four is overkill how do you describe 20 Bond films :P
April 30, 200718 yr having 4 is just an overkill but its an on-going series so the story progresses its not like its just gonna be a re-run of the first film but in a different location
May 2, 200718 yr i am going to see spider-man 3 at bank holiday monday but it proberly wont be as good as pirates of the caribbean 3, who knows
May 4, 200718 yr I LOVED IT!!!!!!!! it was the best!!!!! heres my review in spoiler blocks cos it may have some spoilers one of the best spiderman films. most critics got confused but i didnt. there were a couple of laughs and a few surprising twists. its very easy to get pulled into the storyline. i was quite disappointed at the lack of venom. i expected to see more of him rather than less since most of the storyline circled around the symbiote. Sand man was the main baddie. the special fx was superb some of the time you couldnt tell what was real and what wasnt! loved it! 4/5
May 4, 200718 yr i'm actually going to see this tomorrow. haven't heard much bout it so i'll probably enjo it more.
May 5, 200718 yr I'm galla see this today- i've been waiting for it for ages now! It does look amazing from the trailers that i have seen so far!
May 5, 200718 yr In summary - a bum numbing experience for me without any pleasure whatsoever. Always the sign of a failed performance. I couldn't get into the film, it was too long and I didn't understand much of it. :(

May 5, 200718 yr Oh no I love Harry Potter - big fan of the books and the films. :P Just I only want to see Spidey because my friend wanted to and I had no other plans for the day. Not my type of thing really.
May 6, 200718 yr A bum numbing experience, must be a very long film  so probs you wont be up for Grindhouse then?
May 6, 200718 yr This was a very long, overrated film that failed to capture my attention was much as Spidey 2 did. IMO, it was too filled up with the many plots it had, that it left little attention to each and everyone of the plots, so that the movie felt kinda rushed. I would be surprised if there was a Spidey 4; The ending left little issues to be worked out.
May 7, 200718 yr Spiderman hits to go on & on - from BBC website Spider-Man will return for at least three more movies, its studio has said after the super-hero's third film broke North American box office records. Sony Pictures chief executive Michael Lynton told the BBC: "Everybody has every intention of making a fourth, a fifth and a sixth and on and on." There would be "as many as we can make good stories for", he pledged. Spider-Man 3 is now the most successful new release in history, making $148m (£74m) in its opening weekend. That beat the previous best of $136m (£68m) set by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest last year. When everybody comes up for air, we can think about how to make the next one Michael Lynton Sony Pictures chief executive Mr Lynton told the BBC News website the figures "way exceed our expectations". He was "really over the moon" that it had done better than the first two instalments in the Spider-Man series, he said. "I think it had a lot to do with timing - the fact we were the first out in the summer. "I think it had to do with the fact that the movie had a universal appeal, it had a broader appeal than the second movie, it attracted a family audience and brought the family audience back. "There were many factors that contributed to it, and there's a part that you just put down to 'I don't know'." PREVIOUS FIRST-WEEKEND RECORD HOLDERS Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - $136m (2006) Spider-Man - $115m (2002) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - $90m (2001) The Lost World: Jurassic Park - $72m (1997) Batman Forever - $53m (1995) Source: Boxofficemojo.com There has been much speculation about the big screen super-hero's future, but Mr Lynton said the weekend figures gave them a major reason to keep the franchise alive. "Everybody's been so busy trying to get this one out that that's been the focus," he said. "When everybody comes up for air, we can think about how to make the next one." The third Spider-Man film sees Peter Parker, played by Tobey Maguire, battle the darker side of his personality and try to hold on to his love interest Mary Jane Watson, played by Kirsten Dunst. It may have received an enthusiastic reception from fans - but the critical response was less than glowing. 'Plain awful' The Washington Post said the film was "plain awful", while The New York Post called it "overly long and complicated". But Mr Lynton said the reviews had made little difference. "What uniformly seems to be the case it that the exit polls show that the audience really loved the movie, and that's what counts," he said. Spider-Man's box office record will come under pressure later this month when two more "threequels" - the third Pirates of the Caribbean and Shrek films - come out. Shrek the Third has its premiere in Los Angeles on Sunday, two weeks before its US release, while Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is released one week later. The original Spider-Man film, released five years ago, took $115m (£58m) in its opening weekend - and is still third on the all-time new release chart, according to expert ticket site boxofficemojo.com. The follow-up, which came out in 2004, had relatively paltry first-weekend takings of $88m (£44m).

May 9, 200718 yr Hmmm, well..... It has some good elements to it, like the whole conflict between Harry and Peter, and the Peter/Mary Jane relationship takes one or two interesting turns, but all in all does this whole Peter/M J relationship not just seem a wee bit like a gay man hanging round with his best female friend......? Sandman was a pretty okay baddie-with-a-conscience too, some impressive fight sequences as well... BUT.... The plotting was a bit too all over the place, Peter's "dark side" just seemed to consist of him wearing his hair a bit differently, putting on a black shirt and sports jacket, doing an incredibly bad John Travolta impression and making his ex jealous by shoving another (rather less attractive let's face it, M J certainly had nothing to be jealous of....) woman in her face... A bit lame really when you compare it to how the symbiote suit affected Eddie Brock.... And speaking of Venom/Eddie, the script writers should be utterly ashamed for just throwing away one of the greatest comic book Spidey villains of all time, how pathetic was he....? How much screentime was Venom given..? 10 mins....? Venom really should have been kept for the inevitable fourth film IMO... Spiderman 3 is not the "greatest superhero film ever", that particular honour goes to "X-Men 2", in fact compared to the superior "Spiderman 2", the third film is seriously lacking in actual dramatic gravitas... And Harry Osbourne actually emerges as the most interesting character in this film.... 6/10
