Hollyoaks bad boy Warren Fox is in for a shock in December as his foster brother Spencer arrives in the village.

Spencer, played by 22-year-old actor Darren Langford, is the biological son of one of Warren's foster parents.

Viewers are already aware that Warren, played by Jamie Lomas, spent a lot of his childhood in a number of foster homes. One family saw him living with his foster parent's biological son Spencer, who has learning difficulties and a mental age of between 10 and 12.

Following the death of his mother, Spencer appears in the village in search of Warren.

A show source told DS: "We're bringing in Spencer to explore Warren's past a little more."

They added: "Warren was fostered by Spencer's mother when he was younger and when Warren discovers that his foster mother - Spencer's real mum - has died, Warren takes him under his wing."

Langford begins filming at Lime Pictures, home of Hollyoaks, later this month.

Ooh sounds interesting...

wonder how he will deal with that!

OMFGG! Hollyoaks know how to keep you in suspense don't they? :heehee:

Spike to make brief 'Hollyoaks' return

Tuesday, October 14 2008, 13:31 BST

By Kris Green, Soaps Editor

Hollyoaks actor Tom Vaughan is to make a brief return to the Channel 4 soap with the hope of a more permanent role thereafter, Digital Spy can confirm.

The 23-year-old, who plays Spike, first appeared in the Chester-based soap in March last year as a plot device when he became involved with John Paul McQueen (James Sutton).

After a brief fling, John Paul embarked on a relationship with best friend Craig Dean (Guy Burnet), leaving Spike high and dry without revealing the truth to him.

The pair remained friends, but when Spike rumbled John Paul and Craig's affair, John Paul persuaded him to keep quiet. Following the exposure of 'McDean' to the rest of the village, Spike has neither been seen nor mentioned in scripts.

Since his departure, DS forum members have campaigned for his return.

A spokeswoman today confirmed: "Tom is back for just a few episodes at this stage. We know he's a real favourite with Digital Spy, so watch this space to see if his return becomes more permanent."

A source added: "He's back for some scenes in which there's a gay night being at The Dog."

HOLLYOAKS Producer Bryan Kirkwood has announced that he will be leaving the show at the end of the 2008.

Bryan has produced HOLLYOAKS for three years now and will leave on a high after seeing the show take home the most awards at this year's British Soap Awards, when the cast and crew walked away with six awards.

Bryan will be replaced by current Deputy Producer Lucy Allan who recently secured a place amongst this year's acclaimed Broadcast Hot Shot elite.

In her latest role as producer of new series Late Night Hollyoaks, due to transmit in November, Lucy builds on the Hollyoaks brand expanding the output within E4, the channel that last night attracted a record 1.3 million viewers!

Talking of Bryan's departure, Lime Pictures' Creative Director, Tony Wood said: "Bryan has created a legacy of success and award winning television which everyone at Lime Pictures is immensely proud of. Lucy's signing reflects renewed ambition and confidence here during a thriving spell of output."

Bryan will be leaving at the end of the year and will maintain a strong relationship with the company, working on the development of potential new projects.

OMG - the E4 episode is brilliant :o

It was heartbreaking watching Myra having to pick between her children. John Paul looked really cute too - I hope he doesn't die! Or Jacqui, Carmel, Michaela or Mercedes :(

Meh at Tina.

Agree about who should survive/ die. The McQueen sisters are the best characters in Hollyoaks! (Except Tina :P). Don't care about John Paul either tbh, he'd already left anyway, so it wouldn't make that much difference! Really hope it's not any of the other 4 though.

Oh and how fake did all those birds flying out the window look?! That was hilarious!

And one more thing - Darren is so selfish!

I love the video clips they've been playing at the beginning of the episodes of when the McQueens were little, so cute!! Tina looks exactly the same haha!!

^^ Haha yeah I thought that. Jacqui looks really similar too

And mini Niall in today's e4 episode looked frighteningly similar to him now

:o

The birds were so cheap I agree - it looked like it cost about £1.50 to make -_-

I agree about the birds!! I don't know why I found that so funny, but I did! I think it was cos they were flying really slowly!!!

Watched the episode on E4.

OMG! Jacqui is such a cow, how could she leave Myra to die. Seriously wish it was her instead of Tina that had died.

Tina's death was so touching, i was nearly crying and i never do this usually.
