Undisputed Queen of contemporary soul music and three-time Grammy winner Mary J Blige teams up with U2 for the release of the stunning version of U2 classic 'One'. The two giants of popular music first performed the song together at a Hurricane Katrina benefit and recently reprised the performance at the 2006 Grammy Awards. 'One' is taken from Mary's hugely successful new album 'The Breakthrough'. - HMV

Released on the same label that has just found Number 1 success with Meck's 'Thunder In My Heart', Infernal are made up of the luscious vocalist Lina Rafn and Nordic god, Paw Lagermann. The Danish pair discovered a shared passion for music and went on to conquer Scandinavia, with their first two albums achieving platinum and gold sales respectively. Now they are preparing to assault your ears with the finest europop in the name their single 'From Paris To Berlin', reminiscent of the pop/dance brilliance of the Vengaboys and the pure pop sensibilities of Aqua. - HMV

Why doesn't anyone post the Top 80 charts early anymore? Can't Foxtrot log on and do it?

Foxtrot is away this week. Hopefully they will be posted from next week here :)

Infernal might climb to No.1 next week, you never know

3  1 Shayne Ward - No Promises

The nation voted for him in their millions to crown him winner of The X-Factor 2005, and his record-breaking debut single 'That's My Goal' stormed to the top of the charts giving him the Christmas No.1, where it stayed for four weeks. Following this phenomenal success, Shayne Ward releases his second single 'No Promises', an emotive ballad, featuring a rousing chorus that showcases Shayne's amazing vocal range to the full. 'No Promises' is taken from Shayne's forthcoming eponymous debut album, due out in mid April. - HMV

2  3 Rihanna - SOS

Dropping from the harmonic heavens to the groovalistic dance floor, Rihanna has returned with another single that will have listeners begging the DJ to play it one more time. Produced by Jason Rotem, the sizzling 'S.O.S.' is bringing the summer heat early this year. With its hypnotic beat and enticing melody, 'S.O.S.' utilizes the electro-funk of Soft Cell's '80s classic 'Tainted Love' to create a soulful anthem of young love. - HMV

1 :right: Gnarls Barkley - Crazy

4 weeks at #1

http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/GNARLSCDSPRE.JPG

Goodie Mobs Cee-Lo joins forces with Danger Mouse to provide what can only be described as a classic for 2006. 'Crazy' has been causing hysteria on the web as well as being championed by some of the biggest names in radio. With it's solid yet smooth beat and soulful lyrical assault, Gnarls Barkley is going to set the charts alight. - HMV

Booo I wish Rihanna had been #1 but I knew her sales wouldn't be able to beat Gnarls Barkley's! Can't wait to see what she sold, hopefully about 60k!

:cheer: :cheer: for Gnarls Barkley 4 weeks at Number !

:cheer: :cheer: for Infernal!!!

Whaw, great chart this week! Best music for ages.

Definitely one of the best charts for a long time, apart from Shayne ward, stuck at No.3

It is a great chart!

Does anyone think, on reflection, that Rihanna could actually climb again next week? Gnarls Barkley's sales are slowly decreasing while hers increase and there's no obvious big new entries!
