June 16, 200718 yr hmm ... not bad I guess. I've got to say, as someone who's only watched the new lot, I'm now at a complete loss at the complete last 10 mins of the show, because I'm not familiar with this Master dude. Up until the last 10 mins, 10/10 ... with that, impressive as it was, 6/10, just because I don't know what's going on now. Edited June 16, 200718 yr by Andrewy
June 16, 200718 yr Author AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME THE MASTER IS BACK :yahoo: :yahoo: acted by John Simm That was one hell of a cracking episode, totally loved it, best RTD episode he ever written. 10/10 Roll on next week
June 16, 200718 yr Only fans of the classic series will know who The Master is. I didn't like this episode at the start, but the ending was really good. I think this Master seems a bit too young though... 9/10
June 16, 200718 yr Noooo! He nicked the Tardis  Really looking forward to see how he gets it back now.

June 16, 200718 yr Woo Hoo!! That was amazing! John Simm is so good, really looking forward to next weeks! 10/10
June 16, 200718 yr The Master was Dr. Who's nemesies in the original Dr. Who series. Shouldn't that have been explained in the show? Why should I have to go researching because they assume I'd know, when a lot of new-series fans possibly won't
June 16, 200718 yr Author I think this Master seems a bit too young though... I totally agree with you, I was expecting someone older, something like Sean Pertwee (Jon Pertwee's Son) would have made a great master
June 16, 200718 yr Shouldn't that have been explained in the show? Why should I have to go researching because they assume I'd know, when a lot of new-series fans possibly won't  It'd be a bit annoying for the old fans though if they explained it. It's a bit obvious the Doctor hates the Master, there's not really much else you need to know tbh.

Well if that's all that needs to be known, but all it would have taken was a sentance to Martha just to give us an idea  I'm not saying it's a huge deal, but it did leave me, and I suspect a few others, at a bit of a loss.

Well, that's why people should bother to watch the old series.
June 16, 200718 yr How?? I ain't gonna buy DVD's or stay up til 3am on UK Gold just because they don't explain stuff! I just wanna watch a show, not do research to do it, haha! Edited June 16, 200718 yr by Andrewy
June 16, 200718 yr I've just been attacked by loads of people telling me how good this was. And it seems you all agree!
