June 17, 200719 yr Please say this will be the last week for ''Love Today'' There hasn't been a chart since ''Grace Kelly'' entered when Mika hasn't been played :(
June 17, 200719 yr STOP KILLING MIKA  (I meant by overplaying his songs Aly, not actual murder <_< As much as you'd like that :P )
June 17, 200719 yr 39 Gossip - Listen Up! [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/BACK18CSC2.JPG Chart Run: 39 [1 wk] Release date: 11-6-2007 Availability: normally ships in 24 hours Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: BACK18CSC2ST Label: BACKYARD Video here: QDb8nJOH0CI track listing 1. Listen Up [Radio Edit] 2. Listen Up [MSTRKRFT Mix] 3. Are You That Somebody 4. Listen Up [black Ghost Remix] Too bad this group could barely make the top 40 this week with their follow up to "Standing on the Way Of THe Control" maybe if this song was used for a commerical of tv series it might have charted higher. Also it seems the guitarist of the band has quit the band recently.
June 17, 200719 yr STOP KILLING MIKA  (I meant by overplaying his songs Aly, not actual murder <_< As much as you'd like that :P ) Nah, I don't mind him as such... JUST THIS BLOODY AWFUL SONG. :(
June 17, 200719 yr Author 34 (from 28) Klaxons - It's Not Over Yet (D) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/RINSE4CD.JPG Chart Run: 28-34 [2 wks] Release date: 25-6-2007 Availability: available for pre-order Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: RINSE4CD Label: POLYDOR Klaxons return with the eagerly awaited release of their live favourite, 'Not Over Yet'. An ecstatically explosive rush of perfect pop, this is a cover of the mid 90s dancefloor hit by Grace given a new dayglo lease of life by the breakout band of the year. Backed with the band's radical reworking of Justin Timberlake’s My Love, as performed on the radio One live lounge, this is nothing less than a big box marked 'Anthem'. - HMV Video Here: q6f7D-0tIKE track listing 1. It's Not Over Yet 2. My Love [bBC Radio 1 Session]
June 17, 200719 yr Klaxons dropping, should climb next week, its physically released next week, I think
June 17, 200719 yr Author Hmm, a small drop on Downloads alone for this class cover. I hope it goes Top 10 when released :D
June 17, 200719 yr Dropping on downloads alone is never a good sign... probably barely top 20 next week now I'm guessing.
June 17, 200719 yr Author 33 Erasure - Sunday Girl [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/PRERELCDSERA.JPG Chart Run: 33 [1 wk] Release date: 11-6-2007 Availability: normally ships in 24 hours Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: CDMUTE376 Label: MUTE 'Sunday Girl' is the second single from Erasure's new album, 'Light at The End of The World'. Of the single, Vince says "This one flowed out very naturally in that hotel room in Maine. We would only write in the afternoon because I've got a new baby [Oscar] and so had to get back home each night. The chord changes and melody seemed to work really well", and Andy adds "It's a Bacharach-type song with a big chorus. It's quite old-fashioned, like Neil Sedaka's 'Calendar Girl'". - HMV Video here (Web Clip): PZ1tX6Z7LKs track listing 1. Sunday Girl [Radio Mix] 2. Take Me On A Highway
June 17, 200719 yr Dropping on downloads alone is never a good sign... probably barely top 20 next week now I'm guessing. Didn't the same happen with them for ''Golden Skans''
June 17, 200719 yr Dropping on downloads alone is never a good sign... probably barely top 20 next week now I'm guessing. Same. For some bizzare reason Klaxons don't do as well on physicals as most other indie acts. Golden Skans went something like 14-7. Any other indie band that get to 14 on downloads would shoot up into the top 5 EASILY!
June 17, 200719 yr Didn't the same happen with them for ''Golden Skans'' I don't believe so.
