This morning he urged his listeners to buy the Robyn single whilst slaughtering the "awful" Kanye West single for its "lack of originality". He did a rant on why R'N'B artists can't come up with an original tune and just rap over the top of any old dance track like...... The last time i checked kanye wasn't r&b and beyonce is an r&b artist all her single releaed from the new album have all been originals the same can be said about amerie,kelly rowland,keysia coyle, etc etc. pop artist aint that better anyway the same cheesy watered down dance pop songs. we've head a million times , chris should be slapped for generealzing all r&b artists. August 10, 200718 yr Even thou I don't think Robyn's track is quite as good as some ppl here r saying, it still is a very good track and hopefully she will be no 1 on Sunday and not another rnb hit (thou I do like that Timbaland track but that's almost more dance than rhythmic and certainly not rnb). And since Kanye sold just 700 copies more on Thursday and Robyn has that 3000 lead she does have a good chance of getting her first no 1. She should be helped by a spike on physical sales on Saturday. Hopefully it won't come to the fact that some people have downloaded the wrong track from her since there seems to be some confusion among ppl about which is her new track and hopefully she won't find herself no 2 with Mikey's prediction of 10 copies because of that. So yeah, go Robyn!!

The older buyers don't tend to go for singles anymore. And as it's summer holidays, I'm not sure Saturday will make that much of an impact.

True in part but on the other hand depending on tomorrow's weather most school kids will be hang out at the mall (since all haven't gone 2 Spain) and have more time than ever to buy singles...
August 10, 200718 yr Great that Elliot Minor are still top 20 and have barely fallen all week whereas Darren has fell right out of the top 10. :o I so bloody hope Robyn keeps the #1 - there are now two versions of the track on iTunes which should give her an extra boost over Kanye.

Yea, im a schoolkid and a lot of kids near where i live go to the shopping mall on weekends (and weekdays) But saying that most kids in high school use limewire ect to downlad music, so i don't think it will make much difference.
