This week marks 25 years of the CD, as the title suggests do you remember your first CD, and will the CD live on for another 25 years.

Ermm think my first CD single was ''Milky - Just The Way You Are''.
My first CDs were in about 1997 but anyway. :lol: My first single was Elton John - Candle in the Wind 1997 :lol: and first album was Enya - Paint the Sky with Stars: The Best of Enya. :wub:
I bought my first CD player in 1988. I bought two albums - ABC's 'The lexicon of love' and Big Audio Dynamite's 'This is Big Audio Dynamite' the same day.
First CD album was Kate Bush - Hounds Of Love. That was back in the days when the CD was sometimes only released several weeks after the vinyl version.

My first CD album was "Between the Lines" by Five Star - although I already had the tape.

 

My first CD single was "You Have Placed a Chill in my Heart" by the Eurythmics - in a funky limited edition black tin.

First single was Hanson - Mmm Bop in 1997 followed by Gala - Freed From Desire a month later, which I still have :o

I cant renember my first single but my first album was Steps - Spectacular :rofl:

My first CD was Queen - Greatest Hits II which I bought in 1991, even though I didn't have a CD player until the year after.
Im not old enough to have bought an early single, my first was razorlight - Vice ;) :lol: .

First CD single was Runaway by The Corrs

 

First album was Talk On Corners by The Corrs

It was NOW 27, bought it on the day I got my first stereo.
