Woah im well suprised, i consider Song 4 Mutya to be the second greatest pop single ever, behind Push The Button, the chorus and the way it leads up is absolutely amazing!

Lol! Sugababes fan then are we?? Not that I'm questioning your objectivity or anything............

HaHa how did you guess!

And i do consider number 8 a huge flop, when it should have been the biggest single of the year!

But i do believe had Mutya been the 'artist' of the song it would have performed far far better!

There should have been loads more adlibs after the very final chorus!

And the video could have been amazing but was tragically underwhelming!

I waqsn't a fan of the song at first, but it sure is a grower, I love it now, should've done a lot better IMO.

it annoyed me tbh....but i know it was a big song of the summer and did expect a higher entry#

The 2 greatest ever pop singles were released in the past 2 years? Each to their own I guess...

'Song 4 Mutya' was a decent-ish track, but like russt has mentioned, it's no future classic like 'At The River'.

I did expect the song to chart higher but I'd hardly call it a flop. It made the top 10 and it was doing well on downloads for weeks before it's release.

I do honestly think Song 4 Mutya is the best pop single we've had this year (although second best EVER is pushing it a bit).

I can only assume the chart placing was down to

1.) The TERRIBLY boring video

2.) Groove Armada just aren't as big a singles act as Mutya alone (although that doesn't explain why the GA album didn't do great).

The video IS horrid to be fair :puke2:

The people in it are SO annoying :puke2: :puke2:

I think the Sugababes fans here are going into a hyperactive frenzy - Song 4 Mutya was never a Mutya Buena single... Groove Armada use many, many guest vocalists, same as Massive Attack..... the song was Groove Armada - featuring Mutya Buena. It was never going to be a sole-artist single - because it simply isn't her song - it's Groove Armada's.

i disagree, im a babes and mutya fan, yet am well aware its a groove armada release. im unsure if it would have worked if it was her release

just like this is not real love is george micheals release, and is one of the most underestimated singles of 2006. its beauty yet did very well considering it had no video

This is Not Real Love should've been a number one single - criminally underrated.

i agree.

the version on mutyas album is naff. her last verse isnt on it.

that is the best ending 2 a ballad that i ahve ever heard
