The best albums released this year are "Favourite Worst Nightmare" and "Kala"

 

But from this list it HAS to be Amy. The White Stripes is a bit samey for me.

 

Rhianna's is a decent album, but the fact that she has had ZILCH artistical input into it whatsoever. Really puts me off it.

Back to Black I just don't get.

Hats of to the Buskers is indie-by-numbers.

Simply Red are just f***ing awful.

Paul Potts has no business being in a recording studio let alone a poll.

The White Stripes are really just a one trick pony.

Rihanna and Mutya I don't consider album artists and haven't and won't listen to their collection of random songs.

 

The best albums of the year by The Aliens, Super Furry Animals, Maps and Battles weren't on your list.

Overall though, the album of the year is Kala by a country mile :heart:
