Posted October 23, 200717 yr Hi all, Is it too early to be discussing the Christmas chart? I guess The X Factor juggernaut will be number one, despite them being pretty rubbish this year, but who do you think will take number two?
October 23, 200717 yr or the sugababes could shock the $h!t out of every1 and take it with the amazing Change
October 23, 200717 yr Author Headlines is out on Nov 19th though isn't it? I know it's the Children In Need song but suely they can't hang on for 5 weeks? Must say, I dont think it was very catchy on first listen!
October 23, 200717 yr There will only be another 3 #1s I think this year Kylie for a week Spice Girls for 4 weeks Xmas #1 Spice Grils will do what Take That did last year.
October 23, 200717 yr Apparently little Connie from Britain's Got Talent has recorded Somewhere Over The Rainbow (in her aunt's living room) and that's going to be released in time for Xmas.
October 23, 200717 yr I'm possibly thinking Leona, Spice Girls (maybe Kylie) and The X Factor winner will be the only remaining #1s of this year. So Spice Girls could be #2, but hopefully it will be Sugababes as Change is out that week
October 23, 200717 yr Author Spiker, I'm with you on Sugababes for number two! Haven't they put the release date of Change back a week so they have a better chance? Would hope they'll be able to kick the Spice Girls off! Can't say I'm looking fwd to the Spice Girls' comeback as much as I was Take That's last year.
October 23, 200717 yr yeah they have ^_^ i would love for them to get xmas number 1 but some talentless scrotum from the xfactor will so number 2 will have 2 do its a perfect xmas choon
October 23, 200717 yr Given the universal hatred for X Factor here and the fact they're surely running out of contestants now they're in their fourth year, don't you think something might be able to beat it this year? What are the odds of the X Factor winner NOT being Christmas number one? I might have a wee flutter on that. You can but hope.
October 23, 200717 yr Is there really no chance that the Xmas #1 be something else than the X-Factor winner song?
October 23, 200717 yr Author The X Factor winner will probably be very short odds- 1/10 or something, nearer the time, I think, so you could probably get 5 or 6/1 for them not to be number one. However, with ten or so million tuning in for the final, I guess it can't be stopped. Wonder if Leona will put another single out before Christmas? You'd think Simon Cowell wouldn't want her going up against this year's winner as it would just highlight how inferior they are?
October 23, 200717 yr is there a clear favourite for X factor winner this year? i don't follow it but the last two years it has been clear that Shayne and Leona would win,
October 23, 200717 yr is there a clear favourite for X factor winner this year? i don't follow it but the last two years it has been clear that Shayne and Leona would win, I think Hope is the bookies favourite so far. I don't want an X Factor Winner christmas #01 but what can you do? :(
