October 28, 200717 yr I wouldn't predict that much I'd say around the 200,000 mark would be incredible, I think the album will end up selling a bucket load though.
October 28, 200717 yr Author G4 , Shayne Ward and and Journey south had over 200,000 sales. I think Leona will exceed them. Mind you its not mothers day or valentines day, so yes, hard to predict ;) Edited October 28, 200717 yr by Olympus
October 28, 200717 yr I actually dont think she will sell a right load in the first week I dunno, hope so though
October 28, 200717 yr are u sure britney sold that much in her first week? if so, eminems encore should be in there cos i beat it to number 1. and what about Scissor Sister-Ta-Dah or the Killers-Sam's Town. both cleared 200k i thought.
October 28, 200717 yr Wow thank you for those stats..great to see Rob in there more than a few times. I think she will do more than Shayne Ward, but not by much. Good luck to her though.
October 28, 200717 yr I recon about 150k. I think people might want another single before they invest.
October 28, 200717 yr G4 and Shayne etc released the week before Mother's Day, and sales dropped sharply after that, so while I think Leona's album will do better overall, I'm not sure it'll beat their first week sales, because most of her sales will be people buying for themselves. I'm going for a more modest 100-150k, but with sales staying strong until Christmas as people start to buy for mums and aunties and a new lease of life if the next single is good.
October 28, 200717 yr Author It is hard, I think all of us underestimated her single. I'm sticking my neck out and saying that her album sales will also be a big surprise, (on the plus side!) Edited October 28, 200717 yr by Olympus
October 28, 200717 yr Probably around 150-200k. It's out just before Xmas though, so I'm sure it'll sell a bucketload around then. Edited October 28, 200717 yr by darren
October 28, 200717 yr Will had first week sales of 201,900 with Friday's Child and 240k the second week, with all the hype surrounding Leona at the moment, (she's practically walking on water and healing the sick  ) if G4 can sell 240k I reckon Leona can sell over 350k easy and especially at this time of year, I don't think the Spice Girls will sell half of that.
