They will blatantly A list Change really quick as well which is such an inferior song. As much as I like Sugababes (which is a lot), Change is Barry White.

November 15, 200718 yr I hate Radio 1 so much. Why did they officially premiere Dannii's single if they're not even gonna bother playlisting it? I was so confident about it too, for both this and helping Sophie's downfall this year they can all die a horrible death. It really angers me because Radio 1 have such a huge stake in promotion, it's because of them the music scene is in such a dire state right now.

November 15, 200718 yr It works both ways with Radio 1 though. They don't playlist a lot of good stuff too sadly :( New Young Pony Club, M.I.A., Hadouken! etc are all worthy of playlisting and 'Radio 1-ish' but it doesn't happen. They do accommodate for all genres but some songs lose out. I mean Sophie flopped because it was a weak song, Dannii's isn't particularly good either imo. Maybe their Playlist team think the same?
November 15, 200718 yr Radio 1 just push what they deem as 'cool' to like, and the public seem to blindly follow that. I personally think they should get a whole new playlisting team who are more objective.

November 15, 200718 yr I have a very very very very good feeling about Change! It will definitely go top 5 during Christmas week with huge sales, the video looks like its going to be immense, such a good Christmasssy single, im expecting good things!
