The GBP clearly have a great affection for Take That and they don't for the Spice Girls. I'm glad they've been given a bloody nose. Plus Patience was a great song. Perhaps they should have asked Gary Barlow to write them a comeback song? Patience, Shine and Rule The World are all classy songs Headlines and Voodoo are not bad just not brilliant...but then again Take That's bonus track from their 2005 Ultimate Collection Today I've Lost You isn't really in the same league as the stuff from Beautiful World. Perhaps if the Spices went and wrote a brand new album and released it in a year they could come up with some better material

The song isn't very radio friendly, video could've been better & then any promo they had planned was ruined because of Mel B on Dancing With The Stars your rite, its' cos of Mel B, dat cow. Dancing with ther stars is still on, she made it to the final. I hope she wins now.

November 21, 200718 yr People quite often like to see the mighty fall but i agree, headlines is a terrible song and it annoys me that it gets so much airplay because people obviously don't like it. Remember, a lot of the spice girls sales this week will be people buying it for CIN. I still love the SG though.

Take That's Patience and Rule the world are classy, not shine and don't even get me started on I'd wait for life ( reach out was 10 times better)

More than can be said for some ( I won't mention any names!) of the NEW releases!! :naughty:

If anything it's been girl groups who have been dominating the past few years; Sugababes, GA, Destinys Child, Atomic Kitten, etc. The only real difference between the two comebacks that I can see, is that Take That came back with a killer track, whilst the Spice Girls went for something that would have been dismissed as even a B-side at their peak. They'd have been better off taking time out and recording a FULL album.
