does anyone know the actual sales on the spice girls single this week? and please no smart comments.

according to info earlier in this thread, shayne ward was 3200 behind number 2.

So that makes him. 5500 ish

So SG are just under 5500

how many places is call the shots from top 40 ?

4 places, should enter top 40 by the end of the week

Totally stupid argument... people are finally realising that they can give to charity without supporting $h!te charity singles...

The news that this track is only number 10 has made my week!

I dont think theres any need to be rude about it, but i was just thinking because the majority of the charity singles always do better than this, so its not totally stupid now is it.

thanx,

Such a shame but tbh Spice Girls don't even care, I care about the number one position.

I don't even follow charts anymore unless Madonna is releasing something.

I only decided to come back to this because Spice Girls came back (they r also the reason why I joined this forum).

I hope they climb up, i really do.

GA are the only serious challengers.

Might be close (mind you I thought that about SG/Leona!).

Nah, everybody will buy the album rather than the single considering the former is out now. Unlike the SG's greatest hits, which people are purchasing for the old tracks, DEFINITELY not the new material (Apart from the mess that is Headlines, has anyone heard Voodoo yet :puke2: ) Leona to hold on till Shaun the sheep arrives, I say. ;)

I think that GA will fall in the albums- especially after seeing how close it is int he top 4 sales wise.

I think thyey will be number 4/5 now.

Y do u ppl hate the Spice Girls so much, what have they done to you lot?

All they did was bring fantastic pop music and open doors for girls groups and female stars such as Destiny's child, Girls Aloud, Britney spears etc.

I hate the way they've reformed for money. I hate they way they use Children in Need to promote the sale of their album (the profits from the single are a loss leader for them) and I hate they way five talentless bints hoodwinked the public into buying watered-down rubbish.

As for opening doors...Bananarama were a strong all-girl group years and years before them - Christ, even Fuzzbox had more 'girl power'. Destiny's Child owe more to the Supremes, Britney Spears owes more to Debbie Gibson. The Spice Girls really opened the door for complete pish like All Saints and B*Witched. So, yeah, thanks.

Well I disagree with you on every level.

Why shouldn't they do it for money? They are working damn hard.

Yea, they don't need the money for the single which is why they made it for CIN, Why shouldn't they, its for a good cause?

So many other artists appeared on CIN just to promote their music, isn't that cheap?

At least Spice Girls HAD a reason to perform there.

UK just love to diss them from day 1 and they have proved them wrong.

Spice Girls should move to America where they get far more respect then their own home country.

I love their music and so do about 55-60 million pple who bought their albums.

Hats off to you richie... I could not have said it better myself...

People talk of the Spice Girls as if they were the first women to make pop records...

All the Spice Girls are famous for is introducing celebrity obsessiveness into society.... next door girls, with absolutely no talent or taste being famous.... it showed soceity that anyone can be famous... you don't even need talent..

Top 15

Rihanna feat. Ne*Yo - Hate That I Love You (D)

It's physical unfortunately :( I saw the single in both HMV and Virgin.

I think the Spicies are doing quite well considering.

They're chart run on Downloads over 2 wks has been 20-23 where many fans must have downloaded and what with their, less than inspiring, CIN miming performance!! The song's also a wee bit of a second rate "Viva Forever"

Before you slay me peeps, I actually DO like it!!!
