November 20, 200718 yr Erm, for your info, spiceboy started attacking the girls, I didn't. And I'm only commenting the news as they're coming. And yes, I would find laughable that the new SG & CIN single struggles to sell 30.000 copies if it's true. If you're not happy with that, avoid the thread about the midweeks info. I just get upset at the fact that pple want them to fail, I dunno y. I don't want other acts to fail including GA. I really like their new song (I've even got their 1st album) but when pple diss my all time favs then I av to stick up for myself and state the facts. If spice girls enter at number 2, that aint a flop but I just want them to be number one. Is that wrong?
November 20, 200718 yr Author If anyone can't be patient in future, I stop the midweeks altogether, some of you clearly don't know its takes time and effort to flesh the info out.
November 20, 200718 yr The news that this track is only number 10 has made my week! I would imagine that it is unlikely to climb during the week and may therefore miss the Top 10 altogether.... Edited November 20, 200718 yr by Brutarn
November 20, 200718 yr Author Any info on where Celine Dion is on the album charts, Mikey? Down 5 places
November 20, 200718 yr Girls Aloud should drop its their poorest album yet. Can't believe Spice Girls are just scraping the top ten :o
November 20, 200718 yr Why is everyone going on about the Spice Girls being a flop? I mean they hardly are tbh :| Their first album shifted like 110,000 copies in the first week. The GH did like 75,000. Thats not bad! Considering it was also a greatest hits! I dont really think SG or the fans care much about what happens. The tour is what everyone is excited about :P Anyway! Girls Aloud top 5 in albums please! Comments like these offend me, not the facts but with those silly smiley faces and the sarcasm.
November 20, 200718 yr I know surely number 10 isnt right, Emma got to number 3 last year with 'Downtown'! Downtown was much better than this new SG song  But # 10 is really really low and unexpected :o
November 20, 200718 yr I would imagine that it is unlikely to climb during the week and may therefore miss the Top 10 altogether.... Here's hoping... ;)
November 20, 200718 yr Comments like these offend me, not the facts but with those silly smiley faces and the sarcasm. Why? I'm a massive fan of Spice Girls, so i wasnt being evil about them or anything  Anyway, no arguements as its been said many times :P I think Girls Aloud will drop to about 5 in the albums. Headlines should climb to around 8-6.
November 20, 200718 yr Girls Aloud should drop its their poorest album yet. Can't believe Spice Girls are just scraping the top ten :o Hopefully they won't! And have you heard the album? It's AMAZING!!! The first two singles do not do it justice.
November 20, 200718 yr Given the paucity of decent physical releases next week, are Girls Aloud Leona's only challengers for a sixth week at number 1?
November 20, 200718 yr I think GA will end up at around number 5/6 in the album charts! The Spices are doing really bad considering all the hype around them. It is a bad song though!
November 20, 200718 yr Author Given the paucity of decent physical releases next week, are Girls Aloud Leona's only challengers for a sixth week at number 1? It seems so, oh, and Sean Kingston new track  hope it flops
November 20, 200718 yr I think that this has proved that bands cannot just make a "comeback" based on their previous success. They need to provide some quality material of the calibre of Take That's album to have any chart success this time round. The days of instant No.1's based on a band/singers "reputation" are over thanks to downloads. Look at all the artists who have underperformed with comeback singles recently.....All Saints, Kylie and now Spice Girls. It is good that we are now a more intelligent record buying public that want to hear good music rather than buy a CD with our favourite artists name on it.
November 20, 200718 yr this week practically proves that people only buy what they're told to. leona and t2 get played so much on radio however spice girls and maroon 5 are lauughed about when played yet, maroon 5 at least have a good song. this is booooring. the only song i like in that top 5 is take that cos i didn't like it at first and its grown on me so, unlike the rest, i'm not bored of it yet (and 5 weeks at number 2 is very impressive!)
November 20, 200718 yr Looks like Leona could stay at the top of the album chart right up till Xmas, with no one of any real note releasing. All the big names such as Robbie, Dido & Madonna who would have surely knocked her off aren't releasing till next year. Nice to see the public haven't bought the Spice Girls single just because it's them & for CIN. In my opinon it's dire & their mimed performance just put the tin hat on it for me. I think Shayne Ward will climb into the top 5. Sales must be pretty poor apart from Leona's in the single charts. Edited November 20, 200718 yr by truly talented
November 20, 200718 yr Girls Aloud  and :o at the Spice Girls  sort of a bum way to end your run of top 3 singles :(
