Amazon has a pre-release chart that seems to update hourly. Is this anything to go by or a load of baloney. If not is there an official pre-release chart anywhere?

and headlines hmmmmm no one bought it compared to number of people at the concerts i dont like that

 

Add manchester dates and its about 380,000 tickets sold.

As long as Headlines is still in the top 20 or climbs in the top 10 its good for CIN.

I don't think she will trouble the top 10 to be honest, the top 10 should remain static next week TT could have a little climbing surge, Leona could hang on till Amy Winehouse releases her new track or Shaun The Sheep unfortunately, I would prefer Amy over that Sheep track.

As I have previously worked in a record stores, maybe I can answer this one...Be it an actual shop, or an on-line order thing, Stores pre-order a certain amount of copies of a single/album/dvd or whatever. The general public, go in, and decide that they would like to put in an order for a particular item, when it is officially released. The Shop/on-line store will have a computerised list, of what people have ordered, and the number of copies that have been ordered make up the pre-release chart. People have to pay for the item, before they get it...but sometimes just sometimes, the person that ordered the copy in the first place, doesn`t actually go back to collect it! Although an on-line order will be sent straight to the person`s address, when it is commercially released.
