Much amusement at Kylie's "massive" comeback, although at least she can always console herself by looking at the Spices.

82,000 copies sold in the first week sounds pretty massive to me. :P

Just as I predicted earlier in the week, Westlife edged themselves back in the top 10, it was either Sugababes or Westlife.

"Before Elvis, there was nothing," John Lennon once said. An overstatement, of course, but Elvis Presley's ascendance to superstardom in the mid-1950s kicked off a musical and social revolution whose impact has yet to abate. After the charming young man from Tupelo, Mississippi was discovered by Sun Records honcho Sam Phillips, the wise studio owner took Presley under his wing, leading to the landmark recording of his first single, "That's All Right (Mama)." The rest, of course, is well-documented history, with Elvis going on to conquer the pop charts, the box office, and beyond. He truly was the King, and his blend of country, pop, and R&B became the cornerstone of rock & roll. - HMV

This tune was a top 40 hit for Mickey Newbury in early 1972 and was a concert favorite when Elvis did his version of the tune and became a minor hit for him later in the year but not one of his over 100 top 40 hits in the US.

I hope this AYN falls a bit to make way for their new single though
Well done Sugababes! It is a great song, I really like it. Maybe in two or three weeks About You Now would pass the Push The Bottom sales!
Well done Sugababes and Westlife :cheer:

That Sugababes song passed me by... I've never heard Push the Bottom in my life :P

After fourteen UK No.1 singles and 36 million records sold worldwide, the biggest selling pop act of the last nine years, Westlife, triumphantly return to the UK charts with their new single 'Home'.

Since their launch in 1998, Westlife have become a total cultural phenomenon. After nine years they are still at the top of their game and continue to surprise and astound in equal measure. - HMV

Yay for Britney being a non-mover!

thanks for changing your name

also why is there loads of hate for Reggie on text when he's actually saying what everyone on this forum is thinking about elvis?

I look forward to 'About You Now' surprassing 'Push The Button's sales, PTB is grossly overrated.

i used to think push the button was brilliant. its still good but about you now is

YAY!!!! Go westlife!!!

so great that they have re-entered the top 10 and the album beat kylie in the charts!! so happy. sorry if no one else likes westlife. lol.

'2 Hearts' is the first taster of Kylie's brand new studio album 'X'. Written and produced by London-based electro group Kish Mauve, '2 Hearts' is the sort of showstopping comeback we've come to expect from the Princess of Pop, who reinvents herself once again with this succinct glamtastic pop masterpiece. - HMV

Kylie's single seems to be holding up fairly well. I live in hope the album can follow a similar chart run over the christmas weeks, but I'm doubtful.
I can't believe how much I like this song :o I don't wanna like it  but I just keep singing along
