December 11, 200717 yr Bad Santa's my fave Xmas film :D When I was a kid, I think the BBC put on The Wizard of Oz after The Queens speach on most Xmases, a film which I loved when I was young :D Edited December 11, 200717 yr by Sound-Bite
December 11, 200717 yr Die Hard  best xmas movie ever by a country mile Not sure if it is THE best but certainly one of the best ones (and so is the sequel). Just actually saw the Black Christmas remake, one of the remakes they could have skipped making. Home Alone 1 & 2 are very entertaining and so is Love Actually. The one not mentioned so far that I really like is Gremlins, good fun from start to the end.
December 11, 200717 yr I can't stand watching Home alone again :banghead: every year the same story and it's sure 10 years now it is being played on TV every Christmas
December 11, 200717 yr Black Christmas - the remake. It's so horridly gory and the script is awful
December 11, 200717 yr Bad Santa's my fave Xmas film :D When I was a kid, I think the BBC put on The Wizard of Oz after The Queens speach on most Xmases, a film which I loved when I was young :D Yeah! Another one for Bad Santa - brilliantly funny! Norma
December 13, 200717 yr Me and my sister used to love watching Home Alone over Christmas (or anytime of the year :o), we just used to put it on talk, laugh, eat and just have fun with it. I still rate the film now but it's more to do with the memories me and my sister share...
December 13, 200717 yr does this count??? http://images.villagevoice.com/issues/0417/tracking3.jpg and trading places

July 30, 200816 yr The Muppets Christmas Carol  I watch it every year :kink: me too :D Die Hard 2 is set on Christmas eve so i watch that
December 10, 201410 yr Gonna start watching my "traditional Christmas classics" soon. Always start with 'Elf' and usually watch 'Home Alone' (1 & 2), 'The Muppets Christmas Carol', 'Santa Clause: The Movie' (Dudley Moore). I should get around to including 'Gremlins' and 'It's A Wonderful Life' to this list. I haven't seen Gremlins in YEARS. Like, 14 years or something and I LOVE that film! IAWL was excellent too, but I only saw that for the first time last year! Need to give 'Bad Santa' another go, too. I found it unfunny and boring the first and only time I saw it (when it was released). But my humour has changed so much since, so perhaps I'll "get" it more. I saw a couple of Christmassy films the other week with some friends for the first time, 'Black Christmas' (original) - it wasn't very good. You barely saw anything! 'Rare Exports' this was actually good! And the other was 'Saint'... quite possibly the worst film ever made (Christmas or non-Christmas, it don't matter). Terrible. EDIT: Oh and Buzzfeed have a great post on 'Elf'... http://www.buzzfeed.com/mrloganrhoades/34-...-get-old?bffbuk
December 12, 201410 yr My Christmas movie list is always pretty much the same every year: Santa Claus: The Movie (1981) Bernard and the Genie (if you haven't seen this, get on YouTube immediately and watch it. It's a TV movie Richard Curtis did for BBC One at Christmas 1991 with Lenny Henry and Rowan Atkinson, perhaps even better than some of his stuff that went to cinema. I watched it every year from the copy my parents taped on VHS). The Muppet Christmas Carol (LIGHT THE LAMP, NOT THE RAT) A Muppet Family Christmas (again, brilliant TV movie from 1987. Just got the rare DVD of it on eBay) The Snowman/Father Christmas Love Actually The Holiday Holiday Inn White Christmas The Greatest Store in the World (again. Often forgotten TV movie from Christmas 1999 with Dervla Kirwan, Brian Blessed and S Club 7. That description alone warrants greatness) Elf
December 12, 201410 yr My movies are always the same: The Grinch In Search Of Santa Shrek The Halls Elf The Polar Express
December 12, 201410 yr I must be living under a rock, I never saw 'Elf' till this year and I've now seen it twice  really good film though. Home Alone, Jingle All The Way, The Grinch mainly for me though.
December 12, 201410 yr Miracle on 31st street - Dads favourate film ever :P Curious George - Not Christmassy but I saw it on DVD at that time and so it makes me all nostalgic when I watch it every year Home alone 1 & 2 - Simply amazing *_*
December 12, 201410 yr I can't believe no one has mentioned but my favourite by a MILE is 'Christmas With The Kranks' watch it every year and LOVE it
