Original Chart Run (1973/1974): 19-6-4-4-4-4-16-22-41 [9 wks]

OMG, this never went no.1?! Dear, dear me!

Yeah, but it was her comeback. Shoulda been #01 for like six weeks! :(

Did it geto number 3 on physical release or downloads alone?

I agree, it should've been her 6th number 1. To be honest I'm a little dissapointed by Blackout, but I love the song Gimme More.

Actually a good record for a tune that is based on the Red Hot Chilli Peppers #2 UK and #34 US hit "By THe Way" from 2002. My guess is some diehard R.H.C.P. fans are really angry that the group gave the dance producer/remixer permission to use their record for the song.

London pop trio Sugababes displayed grit and determination in overcoming obstacles that would have felled countless others, deftly negotiating three potentially career-threatening line-up changes and being dropped by their first label. Their fusion of contemporary urban beats and classic soul eventually won over fans and label execs alike, and the 'Babes emerged as a hugely successful pop act in the U.K. in the early 2000s. In October 2005, TALLER IN MORE WAYS, the girls' fourth full-length, became their first to top the U.K. album chart. - HMV

Sugababes 'Change' is a lovely track, Amelle steals it IMO.
Fearne said Sugababbs again  please get it right Fearne its SUGABABES
3 on downloads alone...

Then Number 4 when the single was released. :kink:

Why does Fearne always call them 'Sugababs'? I thought it was deliberate at first but now I'm starting to think maybe not.

This song is FABULOUS anyway. Better than About You Now IMO.

Fearne said Sugababbs again  please get it right Fearne its SUGABABES

It might be just how it sounds coming through the radio... :kink:

I really dislike Heidi's voice though, esp. when she's live - its so weak and wobbly!
Then Number 4 when the single was released. :kink:

Number 6 wasn't it?

Amelle really makes every single Sugababes song for me now. I love her ^_^

3 on downloads alone...

Thanks :)

Well if she'd have released it physically straight away it could've got to the top :(

Then Number 4 when the single was released. :kink:

To be fair that was one of the biggest release weeks this year. Leona, Take That and McFly all had singles out.

Pop crooner Andy Williams came to be known as "the Emperor of Easy" for his smooth, silky tone and understated vocal style. Williams was a virtual hit machine throughout the '60s, from the stop-time melancholy of "Can't Get Used to Losing You" (later covered by ska revivalists the English Beat) to the uptempo, brassy "Music to Watch Girls By". Williams was also a TV star, whose Christmas specials became an American tradition. In the '90s, he wrote a second chapter to his career by starting his own theatre in Branson, MO, where fans would flock to his daily shows. Later in that decade, Williams was swept up in the lounge movement and rediscovered by a new generation of fans. - HMV
