Just being simple.

We can say that 2007 was a year for Rihanna (Umbrella), Leona Lewis (Bleeding Love), Timbaland (The Way I Are, Apologize), Girls Aloud (Sexy! No, No, No, Call The Shots) and Fergie (Big Girls Don't Cry) - just to name some artists which made huge in 2007. But, what about 2008?

Who will be huge in 2008?

sugababes and girls aloud will come back with huge albums like they do every year. Adele sounds quite cool too. Leona's succes will continue as will Shayne Ward's I think. I pray that Dido and Anastacia will hav big comebacks but from what happened in 2007 with more of my fave artists (maroon 5, KT Tunstall) I'm not sure what will happen.

Leona will probably continue to do well with 'Spirit'.

Mariah Carey's comeback will be huge.

Don't know about anyone else - I think it's much harder to predict these things with downloads. I mean, both Kylie and Spice Girls comeback songs disappointed and it's much harder for new acts to break through.

Hard to predict, when you see what happened to Britney, Kylie, KT Tunstall, Spice Girls, Maroon 5, ... It was told to be a huge year for them, and finally not that huge at all. :(
Utada Hikaru is going to rock you all with her new English album, and that's a fact :D
Anastacia, ALL her albums (apart from her Greatest Hits which has sold 500k here) has sold over a million copies.
Im hoping that Sophie Ellis Bextors brand new song will be huge in 2008 - shes worked with Richard X, Freemasons and Calvin Harris - im expecting big things

I think we will get a lot of unexpected straight to no.1 debuts this year :)

Keri Hilson? Expected to be fairly big next year, personally i think she will be bigger. I hope we get kick started by a good chart performance by Luciana and Bodyrox anyway. I also predict Black Eyed Peas will flop

I'm hoping when Will releases his 4th album, it will sell well throughout 2008. http://www.sheknows.com/graphics/emoticons/pray.gif

Kylie's album sold 82k in it's first week and around 60k in it's second week - not huge you say? It'll still be relatively high on christmas week which will equal HUGE sales, and that's before she releases the rest of the singles.

I'd say WHEN Kylie releases 'In My Arms', then she will be big. I hope it's the second single, it could do what 'The Sweet Escape' did earlier this year successwise.

But the second single is quite possible to be WOW... ;)

How about a double A-Side single with In My Arms/WOW? If that's possible.

Oh yeah Will Youngs album - looking forward to that!!!

I'm looking forward to it... bombing! :)

If michael jakson finally decided to finish his album and release it in 2008, i think it will be huge!

Whitney is also coming back!

and samantha jade will be big!

:thumbup:It might teach his fans a little humility!

You really do need help with your obsession.

New breakthrough acts next year will include...

Mancini

The Ultrasonics

Remi Nicole

You read it here first.

Dido - with her first 2 albums selling 3 million copies each in the UK, I think it´s safe to say her next one will sell at least 1 million copies... Tough I don´t know how people will react after more then 4 years since her last album...
