It had sold 58000 by Tuesday's midweeks (i.e. Sunday and Monday sales) but there have been no figures since.

It will go up today (Paul O Grady) and then some other shows over the weekend- wait and see. It will be top 10!

Something tells me that a load of those Xmas songs are gonna do very well Thursday to Saturday :wub:

Hmm, they seem to work in the reverse to the usual heavy Monday sales that taper off as the week goes on.

 

 

I know it's early days, but I imagine the final chart of the year, which in the past has tended to be slow moving, will probably be very active this year.

It's a shame as it seems from reading the TV Xmas mag, that Radio 1 appears to be doing a chart of the year on Sunday 30th, rather than concentrate on the weekly chart. Particulary when TOTP may influence it on this occasion.

I'm sure they used to do a special additional programme for the yearly chart. In any case, I think a Yearly chart should really be on New Years Day, Oh well.
