Keep in mind, daily streams have basically doubled since 2022, and the song has re-entered the Spotify charts plenty of times (Halloween and NYE 2022 and 2023, and now on a random Saturday in 2024). It has now been a year and a half since the last update, so I would estimate no less than 1.7M units for Toxic as we speak.

I think if we do get a whole new album from her it might repeak or a new tour but I’d say both of those are off the cards for now. It must do pretty well though she’s gaining pretty good streams across her whole discography in general but I think the book has boosted it even more.

Is it possible to get an update to date sales for TSC I’m curious to see how far over 500k it is now

It's been ages since I saw an update unfortunately but based on the average weekly sales throughout 2022... if that continued to be the case in 2023 and 2024 so far it would be on 501,000 as of 2 days ago. And due for 2xPlatinum in October 2025. But it's possibly getting better weekly sales than it was, so maybe it'll happen quicker than that.

 

Like Spiceboy I really wish that it could achieve a better peak than #38, and achieving it for a positive reason!
