It probably sold a bit around the time of the Apple Music advert she did that featured the song towards the end of 2016, but yes mostly streams I would assume.

Just under half a million streams for Tom's Diner (which I feel shouldn't be in the list as it's a single, but never mind)

In March 2017, OCC stated it had 52,250 combined sales but didn't specify what the split was. Now we know that it has 56,000 streaming units but we still don't know the download sales.

It strikes me as odd that on the 10th August, after two weeks of The Singles Collection being in the chart, it was replaced by Greatest Hits: My Prerogative in the Top 200, and now this week her entry is back to being The Singles Collection. It makes me wonder about the OCC's rules in terms of Greatest Hits albums and how they decide which album to attach streaming data to, if the artist has more than one collection. I'm assuming it only goes towards one. Perhaps it depends on which album sells the most CDs/Downloads in a particular week? :unsure:

 

Anyway, The Singles Collection being #153 this week makes it its highest position achieved since 8th May 2011! Hopefully it'll climb higher over the next 2-3 weeks due to her UK shows!

I was going to ask if the recent shows had impacted her at all. I noticed MP was around 200 on the iTunes album chart after Brighton.

Singles Collection climbs to #118!

but GH:MP was whole week in top 200 on itunes even top 100 at some point :unsure:

I guess that The Singles Collection sold better physically this week? So with downloads added, it may have achieved higher pure sales this week than GH:MP did, even though GH:MP managed more downloads.

 

Album download sales are pretty terrible; Dua Lipa sold 125 downloads to be #100 in the Download chart this week (Britney's Greatest Hits: My Prerogative didn't make the Top 100 chart).
