"X Factor losers Same Difference have landed a record deal - for ONE single.

 

Brother and sister duo Sean and Sarah Smith have been handed a final chance to prove themselves with Simon Cowell on his Syco label. But Sean, 22, proudly declared: "It's what we were holding out for", adding: "We have to sell loads and hopefully make No 1 before they will sign us for an album."

 

The pair, third in the ITV show, said judge Cowell is searching for a perfect song to win over their young following.

 

Since the final Sean and Sarah have begun a whirlwind tour playing gay clubs, leisure centres and music venues.

 

Sean said: "Don't worry, we haven't turned into divas yet. I don't ask for rose petals to be strewn over the floor."

 

The record deal comes as bookies William Hill have began taking bets at 8/1 that they would become Blue Peter hosts to cash in on their appeal to kids. Sean said: "Blue Peter is all about everything we stand for, teaching children the right thing to do and most of all having fun."

 

The Portsmouth pair vowed to be good role models for youngsters."

i think they have eurovision written all over them,the single will d well they may get an album but thats it

No offence to them cause I do love them but even if they did get to No. 1 with their first single and got a deal their next would flop ala Chico! :(

I absolutely can't stand them. I really cannot see their appeal. They are so cheesy, unoriginal and uncredible. The fact they have only been offered a 1 single deal so far, says alot!

they should do a S Club 7 / Hear'Say type of sound. Who knows, there might be a market for it, since no one is doing that sound atm.

Sean and Sarah told fans at a concert in Kendal that the single is coming out in March

Same Difference will be on Blue Peter on 20th February (MY 21st Birthday!!!). I'm hoping they'll be announced as Blue Peter presenters but i guess we'll have to wait and see

I hope they don't do well, unless its a really good song that is, which I doubt it will be

I've heard its Breaking Free, but i don't think anything official has been said

oh god, that's only been released recently, but If anythings gonna get them anywhere that is the song that will do it with all the high school musical lovers!
