Posted December 31, 200717 yr Well where do you think she should go for 4th single? Given the two flops that were "Mouthwash" and "Pumpkin Soup" I think it'd be best for her to avoid "We Get On" because it'll do FOOK ALL for the album. A ballad always has the potential to resurrect albums and slower is where people clearly prefer Ms. Nash to be. So on that basis I'd go for either "Merry Happy" or "Mariella" for 4th and final single. This album has really gone bloody quick :/ She needn't have gone for a Christmas single...
December 31, 200717 yr I honestly think she should just release whatever the fans want; do a poll on her website or something? It really seems like Foundations was a one-off; I don't think she'll have another hit now, so just go with whatever. It just doesn't seem very vital.
December 31, 200717 yr Mariella damnit! :cheer: My fave song off the album. But yeah it's going to flop no matter what she releases I guess.
December 31, 200717 yr "Mariella" is my fav track on the album yet to be released as a single, but I think the best shot of a hit single is with "Merry Happy".
January 4, 200817 yr I think shes best calling it quits with single releases from this album There isn't a track on the album that is gonna chart well for her
January 4, 200817 yr I think We Get On and Birds are the best option for a single. Radio 1 & 2 would both A list Birds and it's the kind of song that's instantly likeable but IMO We Get On is the best song on the album. If she released Merry Happy she'd get slated for doing a "doop doop doo" chorus and that's the last thing she needs. Mariella isn't really a ballad, it's probably a similar tempo to We Get On except for the opening bit. It's a good song, but not a single.
January 5, 200817 yr One preferably where in live performances she doesn't scream really badly in the last few seconds....
