Top 10 Commentary

In one of the most volatile charts of recent times change is everywhere as Kelly Rowland climbs a place to No.1 with the Freemasons remix of Work and finally ends Delta’s mammoth run with Believe Again, which after 12 weeks in control is down a place to No.2!!! Sara Bareilles is back up a place with Love Song while Basshunter’s When You’re Gone moves up to a new peak of No.4 this week!!! Kylie spends her 7th week in the top 5 with Wow though it’s down a couple of notches to No.5…Robyn almost returns to where she was a year ago today by surging back to the top 10 for the first time in a year with Be Mine!!! Ashlee Simpson continues her upwards progress with Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya) which is up to a new peak of No.7…Take That spend their 15th week in the top 10 but slide three places to No.8 with Rule The World while Remi Nicole scores her first top 10 single with New Old Days which is up to No.9…Adele rounds off the top 10, falling four places with Chasing Pavements…

I'm really getting into Duffy at the moment, saw her on Jools Holland show pretty recently, its the first time I heard her music on the show, Rockferry is a grower, Mercy (very motown-ish) and the drumbeats make the song and is ten times better than Rockferry, its a grower as well, I do think Adele and Duffy will be the new acts to watch out for this year.

Great chart over all, not really keen on your top 4 though

Duffy is a great singer and Mercy and Rockferry are both brilliant songs which are almost certainly destined for bigger things in my chart...as I said in my comments Mercy is like a lost 60's classic...images of Austin Powers are conjured up in my head :lol:
