The opinion of someone who is very close yet distant enough to the phenomenon of spice mania that can give a different perspective to it? I think that's a worthwile opinion, if you ask me.

 

Plus, at least she *is* doing something which is more than any of the other girls lol

Wasnt he younger than Melanie though so it wont be massively insightful I'm sure. I'd rather a proper sit down with Mel and her mum, now that would be interesting. How did she feel about her daughter becoming world famous, did she ever try to talk to Mel about her eating disorder, would she change things and have Mel be a regular non celeb if she could, how often did she see Mel during the hectic days, did the fame ever have negative effects on the family, which are her proudest moments from Spice mania?

Or she just wanted to do something different than a regular Q&A and her brother happens to live close by?

 

Plus, with corona going around her mom really should be you know, self-isolating? Her mom might also not be good with Skype/Zoom and stuff like that too.

She's doing great, Melanie. She just got Who I Am remixed by the guy from Hot Chip, a respected band. And I'm proud of what she's doing. And the music she's making is way way better than her usual MOR songs.
